2. 아래쪽 Miravtsi (미라치)라는 마을에서 강변을 따라 걷는 26km다.
북서쪽으로 올라가는 세가닥의 길 가운데 맨왼쪽길은 고속도로이고 오른쪽 두가닥이 강변길인데 구글은 가운데 길 26km를 제안하고 있지만 필자는 그 길보다는 좀더 따뜻해보이는 맨오른쪽길을 택했다.
Today I am going to walk 26km along the river from the village of Miravtsi shown below in the picture.
Among the three roads that go up to the northwest region, the left-hand road is the highway and the right two riverside roads. Google suggests 26km in the middle one, but I chose the far right-hand road that seems warmer than the other road.
3. 택시는 Miravtsi 마을에 필자를 내려준 후, 짐만 싣고 오늘 묵을 호텔로 갔다. 요금은 50km거리에 1200데나르 (약2만4천원).
마을에서 아침8시반에 출발.
After dropping me off at Miravtsi, the taxi carried my luggage to the hotel to stay today; the fare was 1,200 denars (about 24,000 won) for 50 km distance.
I depart the village at 8:30 a.m.
4. 둥그런 산들로 둘러싸인 것이 마치 한국의 어느 동네 같다.
Surrounded by rounded low mountains, it is like a country village in Korea.
5. 이 동네도 알뜰한 태양광 지붕.
In this town, the roofs of buildings are covered with solar panels.

I waved back to the farmers.
10. 산꼭대기에 정교회 성당이 보인다.
At the top of the mountain, you can see the Orthodox Cathedral.
11. 지나던 차량이 호기심에 차를 세운다.

12. 여객철도가 다니고 있다. 구글에는 이 정보가 없었다. 어딘가의 기차역에서 정보를 확인해봐야겠다.
There is a passenger train which is missed in Google information. I need to check the information at a train station somewhere.
13. 오늘의 주인공 바르다르강이다. 북마케도니아에서 발원하여 그리스를 거쳐 에게해로 흘러 들어간다.

It is the Bardar River. I am walking along the river all day long. It originates in North Macedonia and flows through Greece into the Aegean Sea.

17. 마을길로 접어든다.
I am going into the village road.
18. 멋있는 길을 만난다. 이 길을 만나기까지는 우여곡절이 있었다. 마을주민은 자동차길로 가라고 하였지만 필자는 지도를 검토해보고는 이 길을 택했다.
I met a nice road. There were many things happened until I met this road. The villagers suggested me to go on a car road. I took this path after reviewing the map.

22. 건너편의 안개까지 거의 몽환적인 분위기다.
The mist over the river is almost dreamy.
23. 한시간쯤 걸었을까, 강변의 과수밭을 돌보러 트랙터를 몰고가는 농자를 만났다. 그도 반가웠던지 필자를 붙잡고 많은 말을 물어본다.
I walked for about an hour, and I met a farmer driving a tractor to take care of the fruit fields on the riverside.
He was glad to see me, too. He took me and asked me a lot of questions.
24. 이 분외에는 약7km쯤되는 이 길을 사람을 만나지 않고 걸었다.
He is the only man I met during the walking this road about 7km.

26. 빈 집 발견. 빈 집 조차 운치가 있다.
Found an empty house. Even an empty house looks nice.
27. 양지바른 곳을 찾아 잠시 휴식.
Find a sunny spot and take a break.
28. 다시 걷는다.
Walk again after a brief break time.
29. 이런 길을 혼자서 즐기는 게 미안할 정도다. 그동안 순례길중 가장 환상적인 하나다.
I’m sorry to have to take this road alone. It’s one of the most fantastic pilgrimages I’ve ever had.

31.이윽고 이 길이 끝나고 있다.
Finally it's near the end of this road.
32. 자동차길로 올라가야할 때. 없는 길을 찾아서 비탈을 올라가야 한다. 다행히 사람이 다닌 흔적이 있는 길을 찾을 수 있다.
I have to go up the slope to the car road. Fortunately, I find a trail.
33. 자동차길도 경관이 뛰어나다.
The car road is also excellent in scenery.
34. 전망은 더 낫다. 저구름을 지나는 곳에 오늘의 목적지가 있다.
The view is better on the road. There is today's destination where the cloud passes in far distance.
35. 지도에 있는 찻집을 만나면 점심을 먹으려 했는데 문이 닫혀 있다.
When I met the teahouse on the map, I hoped to eat lunch, but the door is closed.
36. 별수 없이 전망을 내려다보며 혼자 도시락을 먹는다. 메뉴는 어제 점심과 동일하다. 빵과 잼과 요구르트.
I look down at the view and eat lunch alone. The menu is the same as yesterday’s lunch. Bread, jam, and yogurt.
37. 환상적인 강변 전망이다.
A fantastic riverside view.
38. 바람은 여전히 세다. 또다른 바람계곡이다. 협곡이 아닌 광곡.
The wind is still strong. Another wind valley. Not a canyon, a wide valley.
39. 두 개의 강물이 합수하고 있다.
Two rivers are summing up.

Mountains and clouds.
41. 이런 길을 오후내내 걷는다.
I walk like this way all afternoon.
42. 북측의 바위산 경관도 만만찮다.
The view of the rocky mountain to the north is also formidable.
43. 시속4km의 관광열차에 올라탄 필자는 시간 가는 줄 모른다.
I ride a tourist train (walking myself) of 4km / h and do not know how much time goes.
44. 고속도로와 만난다.
I'm meeting the highway.
45. 이제 아까 보던 그 구름속으로 들어왔다.
Now it came into the clouds I saw in the distance.
46. 마치 한계령에 온 것 같다.
It's like Han Gye-ryeong in Sul-ak mountain in Korea.
47. 여기가 클라이막스다. 목적지를 3~4km 앞두고 터널로 걸어가야 한다. 길이가 모두 2km는 넘는데다, 좁아서 보행공간이 없다.
다행히 터널진입부에서 서행하는 마이크로버스에 올라 탈 수 있다.
This is Climax. I have to walk through the tunnel three to four kilometers ahead of today's destination. It's over two kilometers long, narrow enough to have no walking space.
Fortunately, I can get on a slow-moving microbus at the tunnel entrance.
48. 영업용 버스가 아닌데도 기사가 걸어가는 나그네에게 호의를 베푼 것이다. 버스안은 모두가 아주머니들이다. 사우스코리아라는 먼 곳에서 온 나그네라는 것을 알고는 환호한다.
Even though it was not a commercial bus, the driver gave a goodwill to the walking traveler.
Everyone on the bus is lady. Knowing me a traveler from a distant place called South Korea, they cheer up.
49. 버스조명이 코발트색이다. 이런 빛깔의 셀피는 처음이다.
The bus lights are cobalt. This is the first time taking a selfie in this color.
50. 다시 걸어서 목적지 호텔에 도착할 무렵 만난 청년들. 이들은 차를 세우고 신기한 모습의 나그네에게 다가왔다. 걸어온 이야기를 듣고는 엄지척.
'엄지척' 같은 하루였다.
Again I walked to the destination hotel. Near the hotel I met young men who had stopped their car and approached a strange traveler. They heard my walking pilgrimage story and thumbed up to me.
It was one of best days.
