2. 어제에 이어 쿠마노보로 가는 나머지 23km구간이다.
It is the remaining 23 km to Kumanovo following yesterday.
3. 나흘 묵은 스코페의 숙소 Hotel Super8을 떠나며.
좋은 위치와 훌륭한 시설임에도 저렴한 가격(든든한 조식 포함 1박당 3만원쯤)이어서 일지에도 기록해둔다.
Leaving Hotel Super 8 in Scope stayed 4 days.
Even though it is a good location and a good facility, it is recorded in the diary because it is cheap (about 30,000 won per night including a satisfying breakfast).
4. 오늘은 짐도 옮겨야 한다. 택시에게 1500데나르(약3만원)을 주고 35km거리의 쿠마노보 호텔로 짐을 옮긴다. 기사와도 셀피.
I have to move my luggage today. I give taxi driver 1,500 denars (about 30,000 won) and move the luggage to the Kumanobo Hotel, 35 kilometers away.
5. 필자는 어제의 도착지인 Arachinovo마을의 모스크앞에 내려서 걸어가고,
I get out of the taxi at the front of the mosque of Arachinovo village, the destination of yesterday and walk.
6. 짐이 실린 택시는 쿠마노보의 호텔로 미리 보낸다.
인도에서는 짐옮길 때라도 자주 버스를 이용하여 왕복했지만 이곳은 쉽지 않다.
The taxi carrying the luggage is sent to the hotel in Kumanovo in advance.
In India, I often used buses for round trips when I moved my luggage.
But it’s not easy here.

The northeastern region is largely high in zones.
10. 계속해서 완만한 오름길을 걷는다.
I keep walking on a gentle uphill road.
11. 맑은 날씨이지만 대기는 맑지 못하다.
It is a sunny day, but the atmosphere is not clear.

13. 쓰레기를 버리고 있는 장소를 지난다. 문제는 소각하는 연기다. 이에 대한 대책은 필요할 것이다.
Passing through a place where you're dumping garbage. The problem is incineration smoke. Measures to deal with this will be needed.

15. 두시간쯤 걸은 후 어느 찻집에 들러서 쉰다.
Walk for about two hours and stop at a teahouse to rest.
16. 동네사람들이 호기심을 갖고 설명을 듣더니 엄지척. 그리고는 차값을 내겠다고 한다.
The villagers listened to my story curiously, thumbed up, and said they would pay for the tea.
17. 이즈음부터 이런 보도가 깔끔하게 단장된 길로 접어들었다. 후반부내내
흙과 자갈로 다져져서 아주 걷기가 좋다.
십여킬로가 이런 길이다. 최근 한두 주 사이에 정비된 듯하다.
마치 나그네가 걸을 것을 미리 안 것처럼~
From here on, I entered a neatly decorated road with this paved road.
It’s a good walk, made of soil and gravel all over the second half.
It’s a dozen miles of this, and it seems to have been repaired in the last week or two.
Like you knew the traveler was going to walk.

21. 북동부지역의 특징을 담은 듯한 장면이다. 농촌마을과 원경의 산.
It is a scene that shows the characteristics of the northeastern region. Rural villages and mountains in a distance.
22. 어느 마을 수퍼마켓앞을 지나치고 있는데 차를 세워둔 여자분이 필자를 큰 소리로 부른다. 아마도 지나가면서 본듯.
오른 쪽의 남자분은 수퍼마켓 주인인데 필자에게 먹을 것을 주고 싶다고 한다. 생크림이 들어있는 카스텔빵을 골랐다.
I’m passing a village supermarket when the woman who parked the car calls out, as I’ve probably seen her.
The man on the right is the owner of the supermarket and wants to give me something to eat.
23. 여자분은 이 사진을 자신의 페이스북에 올렸다. 페친도 많다. 이 사진에 대한 '좋아요' 표시수가 언뜻 보니 99명이다.필자는 이들 사이에 유명해졌다. 이 사진도 거기서 다운받은 것이다.
The woman posted this photo on her Facebook page. There are many pechins. The number of “likes” marks on this picture is 99. I became famous among them, and this photo was downloaded from her site.
24. 헤어지면서 동네분들과도 함께 셀피~
I took a selfie with villagers and left.

26. 어느 농가의 마당. 왼쪽 양지바른 곳에 닭들이 놀고 있고, 마당에는 수확후 남은 줄기와 건초들을 쌓아두었다. 용도가 따로 있다.
농사부산물을 순환적으로 이용하는 장면이다. 인도와 동남아 농촌에서는 일상적으로 보았던 장면이기도 하다.
A farmhouse yard, where the chickens were playing in the sun on the left, and the yard had a stack of stems and hay left after harvest.
It is a scene that is used cyclically for agricultural by-products. It is also a scene that I have seen everyday in rural India and Southeast Asia.
27. 사진을 돌에 인쇄한 묘비. 자연스러운 발상이다.
The tombstone with the photograph printed on the stone. It is a natural idea.
28. 이 사진의 가운데 분이 길을 가고 있는 필자에게 호기심을 갖고 몇마디 주고받더니 차를 대접하고 싶다고 한다.
알바니아 사람이라고 자신과 조카를 소개한다. 북마케도니아에는 1/4이 알바니아계 주민이다.
I was walking on the road. A man in the middle of this photo, showed interest in me and offered ma a cup of tea.
He introduces himself and his nephew as Albanian; in Northern Macedonia, a quarter is Albanian.
29. 어제에 이어 또 다시 지도를 꺼냈다. 이번에는 잘 생긴 청년들이다.
I pulled out the map again like yesterday. This time I am with handsome young men.

Finally, I entered Kumanovo.

It is a large city with a population of 100,000.

I stopped by the restaurant in this city.
36. 포크스테이크를 맛있게 먹었다. 값도 저렴해서 샐러드 포함 300데나르(6천원).
이 식당이름은 Baba Cana.
순례일지에 소개하는 기준은,
질적으로 뛰어나면서 값이 저렴한 곳.
두 가지 모두 충족되어야 한다.
I enjoyed my fork steak. It was cheap. I paid 300 denards (6,000 won) including salad.
The name of the restaurant is Baba Cana.
The standard for the pilgrimage log,
is a place that is qualitatively superior and cheap price.
Both must be met.
