오늘은 하루 더 쉬면서 기차로 두 시간 반 거리에 있는 불가리아 수도 Sofia에 다녀오기로 했다.
Today, I decided to go to Sofia, the Bulgarian capital, two and a half hours away by train.

2. 소피아 중앙역에 도착했다.
I reached Sophia Central Station.
3. 소피아 인구는 124만. 광역권은 170만.
Sofia has a population of 1,240,000; 1.7 million in the metropolitan area .
4. 도시남쪽의 눈 덮힌 큰 산이 멋있다.
Vitosha 산이라고 한다.
The snowy big mountain in the south of the city is a wonderful landscape.
It's called Vitosha Mountain.

일단 모바일 가게에 들러 유심칩을 갈았다.

7. 금강산도 식후경. 코리아식당까지 도심거리 3km를 걸어가면서 구경한다.
Mt. Geumgang is also a post-dinner. It walks 3 kilometers through the city center to the Korean restaurant.
Eating is the most important thing.( In Korea proverb, Sightseeing of the Mt. Geumgang (which is the best sightseeing place located in North Korea) is after eating dinner. I walk 3 kms through the city center to the Korean restaurant.

It is a memorable tram.
9. 도심을 걸어가는데 로마시대의 다리 유적도 보인다.
Walking through the city, I see the ruins of the bridge built in Roman Empire era.

13. 중국집옆을 지난다.
그러고보니 큰 도시임에도 동양인이 눈에 잘 띄지 않는다. 신종코로나바이러스의 영향일 것이다.
물론 마스크를 한 사람은 거의 없다.
I pass by the Chinese restaurant.
It is a big city, but Asians are not visible. It may be the effect of the new coronavirus disaster in China. .
Of course, few people wore masks.

It's a city with well developed tram lines which coexists with the roads.

I met a flower shop.

23. 코너를 돌고 있는 이 전차를 찍는데 운전자가 필자에게 손을 흔들어준다. 관광객을 반기는 분위기다.
I take this tram around the corner and the driver waves to me. It seems that he welcome tourists.
24. 사람들이 모이는 도심보행자거리다.
It is a pedestrian street in the city where people gather.

26. 이 노천카페는 24시간 영업이다. 사진을 찍노라니 안에 있는 손님들이 필자몸의 'South Korea'를 확인하고는 반갑게 손을 흔들어준다.
필자가 오늘 이곳에 온 것은 이런 분위기를 확인하고 싶은 뜻도 있었다.
This open-air cafe is open 24 hours a day, while I am taking a picture, the guests inside the cafe wave me with pleasure reading 'South Korea' written on my body.
I came here today to see the atmosphere, the people's responding.
27. 약 1km쯤 되는 보행자 거리는 중간중간에 가로지르는 이런 찻길이 있다.
The pedestrian street, which is about 1km, has this kind of crosses for car in the middle.
28. 남쪽의 멋있는 Vitosha산이 이 거리를 걷는 동안 계속 눈에 들어온다.
잘 계획된 도시다.
The Vitosha Mountain in the south continues to be seen while walking this street.
It is a well-planned city.

33. 개들도 편안해보인다.
Dogs look comfortable too.
34. 이윽고 한국 식당에 도착. 오랫만에 김치찌개를 맛본다.
I finally arrive at a Korean restaurant. I taste kimchi stew in a long time.
35. 식당에서 만난 불가리아 아가씨들. 즐거운 표정이다.
The Bulgarian girls I met in the dining room. They look happy.
36. 5km떨어진 역사박물관으로 가는 시내 버스.
놀랍게도 버스요금을 받지 않는다. 이게 진짜복지다. 서민의 발인 시내버스 비용 정도는 공공정부가 다른 데서 세금을 거두어 서비스를 제공하는 게 이치에 맞다.
A city bus to the History Museum, 5 km away. Surprisingly, they don’t take bus fares, which is real welfare.
It makes sense that the public government will collect taxes from other places and provide free city bus service to the citizen.

Bulgaria's topographical and ancient sites. Sophia is in the western mountainous terrain.

40. 출토된 옛무덤에서 귀금속의 장신구를 있는 그대로 살려서 전시한 장면이다.
It is a scene where precious metal ornaments are displayed in the excavated old tomb as they are.
41. 경제적 활기도 보인다.
큰 신발매장도 방문했다. 장거리 보행에는 약간 둔탁한 느낌의 Northface가 더 적합한듯 하다. 추가로 장만하여 현재 신발과 번갈아서 신기로 했다.
I see economic vitality.
I also visited a large shoe store.
A pair of slightly dull Northface shoes seems to be more suitable for Long-distance walking .
I bought additional shoes and decided to put them on alternately with my current shoes.
42. 일찌감치 중앙역에 도착하여 숙소로 돌아가는 기차를 기다린다.
I arrive at the central station early and wait for the train to return to the hostel.
43. 이 기차는 칸막이 형이다. 알게 된 승객과 함께 셀피.
