12. 북마케도니아에서 본 벽돌2층집이다. 특유의 '공극벽돌' 때문에 덜 추워 보이는 이 집을 보고 필자는 아이디어가 떠오른다.
12. This is double-decked brick house which I saw in North Macedonia. Because of peculiar porous brick, this house looks less cold. I came upon an idea.
13. 한국의 온돌은 단층집을 기준으로 했지만 이런 집을 2층 온돌로 만들 수 있지 않을까. 아랫층 구들을 돌고돈 연기를 바깥으로 내보내지 말고, 벽을 타고 윗층으로 올려보내서 바닥을 다시 한바퀴 돌고 빠져나가도록 하면 어떨까. 연기가 윗층바닥을 돌때 그 열기로 아래층 천정도 뜨끈해질테니 열효율도 더욱 좋아질 것이고~ 연기가 새나가지 않도록 하는 '기밀'기술만 있으면 되니 가능할 것도 같다. 장작 몇개만으로 하루종일 건물 전체가 뜨끈해질 수 있다면 기후위기의 솔루션이 될 수 있지 않을까~
13. Korean ondol system is installed in one-story house. How about installing ondol to two-story house? If we make the smoke which came around hypocaust go up to upstairs and go around hypocaust once more, then will it work? When the smoke go around ondol in upstairs it will heat the ceiling of downstair. Then the heat efficiency will be very high. If there is a technique of sealing the gap to prevent leakage, it may work. Several pieces of firewood may be enough to heat the two-story house for one day. It might be a good solution to climate crisis.

28. 오늘은 토요일. 이런 길을 걷는 동안 만나는 자동차들에게 나그네가 손을 흔들어 준다. 그러면 운전자와 조수석의 사람들도 흔들어준다. 동양인이라고 배척하는 분위기는 없다.
28. It is Saturday today. I wave hands to the drivers while I walk this road. They driver and the passenger waves hands back to me. I do not feel any antagonism against an Oriental.

신선한 체험이다~

34. The resident waves hand to me.
35. 유럽은 썬팅한 차들이 별로 없다. 차속의 사람들 얼굴표정도 훤히 보인다. 그들중 많은 이가 '저 나그네가 먼 길을 걸어서 여행하고 있다'는 상황을 알아차리고 함박웃음으로 환호를 표현한다. 여러 대의 차가 연속해서 지나가는 경우 나그네는 잠깐만 손을 흔들고 있어도 많은 환호들을 받는다. 가성비 만점이다. 게다가 상황을 알아차리는 건 여자들이 더 빠르다. 물론 웃음도 더 매력적이다~
35. There are few cars with tinting in Europe. I can see the face of passenger inside. Most passengers look at me and find out that I have walked a long distance, and greets me with smile. When several cars are passing by me I just stand and wave hand. Then I receive many greetings. Small investment brings high returns. Mostly women grasp the situation faster than men, and smile fast.

38. This gentleman introduced himself as an architect, and spoke a fluent English. He encouraged my pilgrimage.

49. 오늘의 목적지인 기차역에 도착하자마자 Kyustendil의 숙소로 가는 기차가 들어온다.
