1. 오늘은 1천미터 높이의 고개를 넘어서 28km를 걷는다. 올라가야 할 높이가 550미터쯤 되는 최대의 험난코스를 만났다.
Today, I walk 28 kilometers over the 1,000-meter-high pass. I meet the biggest tough course, about 550 meters high.

3. 아침 7시 15분 출발한다.
I start at 7:15 in the morning.

The high sky is clear, but there is a thick fog near the ground.....
7. 고개길로 접어들면서 멋진 그림이 나온다.

11. 스코페와 소피아를 잇는 중요한 도로이건만 일요일 아침이라 한적하다.
On Sunday morning,there are few cars on the road which is an important highway connecting Sopia of Bulgaria and Scope od North Macedonia.

16. 두시간쯤 오르니 산속마을이 나온다.
After two hours walking, I met a mountain village.

18. 찻집을 만나 잠시 휴식.

19. 동네사람들이 신기해 한다. 코리아에서 걸어왔다는 말을 누군가 통역해주니 감탄연발이다. 나이지긋한 분이 필자의 사진도 찍어가더니 페이스북에 올린다고 한다. 그야말로 지구촌이다~
Villagers are surprised. They are impressed that someone interprets the word "I am a traveler walking from Korea." An older man takes a picture of me and posts it on Facebook. It is a global village. We are all neighbors and are all connected each other. .

24. 고개정상이 보인다. 12km쯤 되는 곳이다.
I see the peak of the pass. I am walking about 12km today
25. 고개에 있는 음식점에서 점심을 먹기로 한다. 멋진 목조건물이다.
I eat lunch at a restaurant on the peak of the pass. It is a wonderful wood house.

I prepare to start again.

31. 이 동네는 야생보호구역인듯 하다.
This neighborhood seems to be a wildlife sanctuary.

34. 상쾌한 내리막에는 호수도 보인다.
There is a lake in the refreshing downhill.

36. 이런 길을 지나가는 차들중에는 필자를 보고 클랙슨으로 반가이 대하는 이들이 많다. 소문이 난 것일까.
Among the cars passing through this road, there are many people who wave to me with horning as if welcoming.
Was there a rumor about a walking traveler from Korea.?
37. 산을 넘어서 평원에 도달할 무렵 이 분이 걸어가는 나그네를 보더니 선물을 준다. 꿀인 것 같은데 고체형태라서 맛을 보니 역시 꿀이다. 양봉을 하시는 분이다.
나그네에게 큰 선물이다~
When I reach the plains beyond the mountains, a farmer sees the traveler walking and gives me a gift: it looks like solid state honey. I taste it. Oh, honey too. He is a beekeeper. A great gift for a traveler.
38. 원래 유럽과 호주에서는 이처럼 고체형태로 유통한다고 한다.
In Europe and Australia, a solid state honey is populous.
39. 숙소에서 제대로 맛을 보았다. 깊고 그윽한 단맛이 느껴진다. 두고두고 감사히 먹도록 해야겠다.
I tasted it properly in the hostel. I feel a deep, sweet taste.
I’ll thank for the honey at every time eating.

43. 숙소로 돌아갈 철로가 보인다.
I see a railroad track back to the quarters.

45. 목적지인 간이역에 도착했다. 기차도착 10분전이다.
개 한마리가 어슬렁거리더니 필자곁에 눞는다~
I arrive at the today's destination, a small simple station. Ten minutes before the train arrival.
