스티가의 DNS 플래티넘 러버가 출시되었습니다.

기존의 러버들과는 큰 폭의 차이를 보이는 러버이네요.

가장 눈에 띄는 것은 바로 가격 정책입니다.

현재까지 이 러버의 국제 시장 가격은 매우 높은 수준으로 유지되고 있습니다.

유럽에서 가장 저렴하게 판매하는 곳에서 현재 판매하는 가격은 54.08유로, 

대략 한국 가격으로 7만 5천원, 여기에 부가세가 더해 진다면 유럽 내 판매 가격이 9만원 정도 되겠네요. 

우선 공식적인 설명글을 좀 번역해 보겠습니다.

DNA Platinum is the latest addition to STIGA’s DNA series that features a new generation of table tennis rubbers from Germany. 

DNA 플래티넘은 독일에서 생산되는 러버들 중에서 최신 성능을 담아 출시되는 스티가의 새로운 러버입니다. 

This rubber is best suited for professional players who have a really offensive playing style and expect the highest quality materials. 

이 러버는 공격적인 성향으로 강한 공격에서 최상의 성능을 보여 주는 러버를 원하는 최상급 선수들을 위해 개발되었습니다.

The unique rubber composition provides an excellent grip, allowing the player to strike the ball from really challenging angles. 

다른 러버와 다른 점을 꼽는다면 아주 강력하게 공을 잡아 준다는 점과 그로 인해 어려운 자세나 위치에서도 공을 충분히 끌어올려 넘길 수 있다는 점입니다. 

(실제로 시타하면서 가장 많이 느껴지는 장점이 바로 이 점인 것 같습니다. 콕 찍히듯이 공이 잡혀요. 그래서 낮은 공을 끌어 올린다고 할 때 매우 쉬우면서도 강력하게 공이 끌어올려 집니다.) 

The short pimples together with the thin top sheet means that DNA Platinum can accommodate a thicker sponge (up to 2.3 mm), which gives you additional speed and power in the game. 

탑 시트와 칼럼의 길이가 조금씩 짧기 때문에 결과적으로 스폰지의 두께를 더 두껍게 할 수 있습니다. 즈 2.3mm의 두께까지 차용 가능하므로 두꺼워진 스폰지만큼 추가적인 속도와 파워가 가능합니다.

(실제로 구매하실 때 스폰지 두께가 일반적인 러버에 비해서 더 두꺼우므로 강한 임팩트가 있지 않으면 공을 라켓 면 위 나무까지 맞히기 어려울 수 있습니다. 만약 강한 임팩트를 가지고 계신 분이라면 이 부분에서 더 많은 혜택을 누리실 수 있겠죠.)

Thanks to the PSC (Power Sponge Cell) technology, you get a longer ball trajectory with more power in your stroke and an aggressive arc in loop play. 

PSC 기술에 의해서 (기포가 있는 발포 스폰지를 의미하는 것 같습니다.) 일반적인 스트로크 시 더 파워가 실리고 공의 궤적도 높고 멀리 뻗으며 드라이브시 더 공격적 성향의 궤적을 그립니다. 

The sponge pores also enhance the contact between the rubber and the blade, which means that you get that sought-after, crisp sound in your stroke. 

스폰지 안의 기공은 러버와 블레이드간 임팩트 시 탄성을 더해 주며 경쾌한 타구 소리를 들려 줍니다. 

DNA Platinum is also optimised for ABS balls, and thanks to the unique composition of natural and synthetic rubber, its lifespan is considerably longer

DNA PLATINUM S 

The soft sponge increases the dwell time (rubber to ball contact time) and gives you greater feeling and control without significant loss of speed. In addition, the rubber generates that characteristic click sound. 

스폰지가 부드러워 공이 머무르는 시간이 길고 상대적으로 감각이 좋으며 스피드가 많이 줄어들지 않으면서도 좋은 컨트롤 능력을 가지고 있다. 아주 특징적인 강한 소리를 들려 준다.
