비엔티안 버스 터미널
비엔티안에는 3개의 버스 터미널이 있다. 중부(센트널, 따랏싸오)터미널, 남부터미널(키우롯메 사이 따이), 북부터미널(키우롯메 사이 느아).
Central Bus Station (Khou Din)은 아침시장(따랏싸오) 옆에 위치하고 있으며 시내노선과 몇몇 교외노선 및 태국북부노선이 있다.
로컬 노선
Bus #14 - Buddha Park or Friendship Bridge (6,000 kip) roughly every 20 minutes, 06:00–17:30.
Bus #29 - Southern Bus Terminal (Dong Dok) every 10 to 20 minutes and costs 4,000 kip.
A few buses (#3, #30, #49) pass the turn-off to the airport,

Northern Bus Station
도시 중심에서 약 2km 떨어져 있고 종종 루앙파방 버스터미널이라고 부른다. 이 터미널에서는 루앙파방과 일부 북부노선이 있으며 중국남쪽도 연결하는 노선이 있다.

Southern Bus Terminal
The Southern Bus Terminal (Dong Dok)에는 라오스 남쪽 지방과 베트남 캄보디아를 연결하는 노선이 있으며
중심지로 부터 약 9km 떨어져 있다. 락 까오라고도 함. 29번 버스가 중부터미널과 남부터미널을 연결하며 뚝뚝이를 이용할
수도 있다(약 50,000킵). 한편 여행사에 부탁하면 게스트하우스에서 픽업하여 터미널까지 데려다 준다.

Bangkok VIP Bus
대부분의 게스트하우스와 여행사에서 방콕행 야간
VIP bus 티켓을 팔고 있다. 이 티켓에는 저녁식사가 포함되어 있다. 보통 17:00쯤 게스트 하우스에서 픽업되며 국경에서
버스를 갈아타고 방콕에는 아침 6시쯤 도착한다. 방콕하차 지역은 카오산로드, 모칫 버스터미널, 공항이다.
Minibuses to Vang Vieng
방비엥으로 가는 가장 쉬은 방법은 미니밴을 이용하는 것이다. 예약은 게스트하우스나 여행사에서 할 수 있다. 티켓에는 게스트
하우스에서부터 픽업비용이 포함되어 있다. 시간은 보통 10:00 or 14:00 and costs 60,000 kip.
Friendship Bridge and the crossing into Thailand
If you are arriving overland from Thailand, visas-on-arrival are issued
at the Lao border crossing and are valid for 30 days. The visa fee
ranges from $30 to $42, depending on your nationality, and it's best to
pay in US dollars.
There is direct bus service from the Nong Khai bus station to Vientiane
for 55 baht, or you can do it yourself. The shuttle bus between the
immigration posts is 20 baht and, on arrival on the Lao side, you'll
have to bargain with a tuk tuk for a ride to the city. If there's a
group of six or more, a fair rate would be 50 baht per person.
Otherwise, hiring a taxi to take you the whole way will cost around 300
baht.
From Vientiane going to Thailand, the easiest way is to take the Nong
Khai bus from the bus station near the market. Alternatively, you can
arrange a taxi from the central market to drive you to the Friendship
Bridge for 100,000 kip.
The Lao–Thai Friendship Bridge is just a 10- to 15-minute walk from the
Nong Khai train station, or a quick tuk tuk ride if you don't fancy
carrying your bags.
