We are in contact with a distributor that is communicating and negotiating with the broadcaster. However, as the director, who has the biggest authority over this project, is abroad, it is difficult to find out whether or not he would be interested in committing to this project.
The pre-sales survey began somewhat late, so it was after the end of the drama that we achieved the pre-sales demands of 1,000. It seems like delivery of message that there are demands for director's cut DVD was delayed due to the late initiation of the survey. The broadcaster has expressed a concern that the director's commitment is unclear, and there is uncertainty as to when the director's would be contactable, while the time is passing. (We agree to this concern as well).

We are also discussing about progressing with the actual pre-order for the director's cut.
The following is what has been discussed regarding pre-order. Broadcaster wishes to see at least 2,000 pre-orders. We could have two options to fulfill this requirement:
First: ( Blu-ray 1000 + DVD 1000 )
Second: ( DVD 2000 )
The current trend in director's cut production is an increase in the number of DISCs in the package and better quality contents, which require more pre-orders. This is to make sure that the director's cut is produced with the best features and quality in the industry.
