Naming laziness when I am lazy
Even unpleasant truths are worth hearing
Secretly helps me grow and improve
Though some say nothing to my face
From behind, they spread gossip bit by bit.
Engaging in snickering and sneering
Essentially, that does not help me
Disliked even by Rambos of the world
Believe it or not, this is true
Aiming for better growth and progress
Choose hard truths over pleasant words

나에게 싫은 말을 해주거나
에티켓 없이 바로 지적하고
게으르면 게으르다 말해주고
싫어할 소리도 하는 사람이
은근히 날 도와주는 셈이다
말을 해주지는 않으면서
하나 둘씩 뒤에서 험담하고
는적거리면서 킥킥 댄다면
사실 내게 도움이 안 된다
람보도 이런 사람 싫어한다
이런 말 실감 나지 않겠지만
더 나은 발전을 원한다면
좋은 말보다 싫은 말을 듣고
다시 새기며 나를 돌아보라
