Works of greatness never fade
Remaining after their authors are gone
In subtle ways
Their life continues on
It can be quite astonishing
Nobly fulfilling its mission to readers
Great works endure through the years
Let us pour our energy into writing
If we do not stop halfway
Vibrant words can still be written
Even now, I am a writer
So I write while I still breathe
On into old age, I hope to keep writing

명작은
작가가 죽은 후에도
은연중에
작품의 생명이 살아 있어
가상할 정도로
사명을 다해 독자를 만난다
후일에 길게 남을 명작
에너지를 쏟아서 써보자
도중에 멈추지 않으면
살아 있는 꼭 쓸 수 있다
아직은 나도 작가로써
숨쉴 수 있는 동안 쓴다
쉰 내 날 때까지 쓰기 위해
다시 자세를 가다듬는다
