Column - The Reason Discipleship Training Failed

1. According to religious theory, there is intellectual and ethical education, and visual training.

The term "visuals" is causing a commotion on both sides.

There is a longing to see something.

This is why mysticism, such as contemplative prayer and New Apostolicism, has emerged.

Christianity is mystery itself.

However, mysticism is the manifestation of some miracle, vision, or power without going through me.

If the process by which God's word, recorded in writing, becomes the word of life—that is, the word of fulfillment—through the Holy Spirit is not a mystery, then what is?

Christianity is a mystery.

2. Nevertheless, if studying biblical knowledge or teaching Christian ethics—what to do and how to do it—constitutes discipleship training, it is a complete defeat.

Human beings are not beings that can be changed through education.

Can you wash away a leopard's spots?

The problem is that while the purpose of theology is worship, spirituality is not realized because it remains stuck in the study of knowledge.

Currently, Christianity faces three fatal hurdles.

One is the formula of faith that says, "Believe in Jesus and go to Heaven."

The next is that while Jesus' resurrection is, one's own resurrection is missing.

The second point is that there is a  resurrection of Jesus, there is no  one's own resurrection.

And the third hurdle is a doctrine of the Holy Spirit that refers to the Spirit of ministry (the Epi-Holy Spirit) manifesting outwardly as "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" or "Fullness of the Holy Spirit."

Therefore, they argue that one must resemble Jesus rather than becoming a disciple of the Lord.

3. In the past, a certain pastor described discipleship training as "the theory of madness."

I viewed it as merely edited material from CCC or Navigators' booklets and had no interest in it.

This was because I knew that humans are not beings who  be taught.

Even now, when I listen to sermons, I see them struggling with all their might to make their teachings on knowledge and ethics sound very graceful(?), entertaining, and moving.

When the written Bible is fulfilled within me and becomes the Word of Life, reading just the Bible alone is enough for a sermon.

This is because the Bible is the Book of Life.

On the other hand, there are many who emphasize reading, claiming that one must read this book and that book.

That is intellectual pietism.

Perhaps that is why his name is recorded in other books(?)?

I was just joking, so please do not get offended... I mean to put it simply.

4. Unless one is a child of God who has obtained eternal life by believing in Jesus as Lord and Christ, dying with him, and rising again with him, the Bible—the written Word of God—does not become my Word.

Unless the Spirit of Truth comes, one may read and hear the Bible, but it is not kept in heart. (John 14:21; Revelation 1:3; 22:7)

By keeping the Lord’s commandments, the New Covenant, the presence of the Lord dwelling with the Father in me is realized.

It is the house of God and his Kingdom.

Once the Kingdom of God is established within us, there is no need to strive to become a disciple.

One live with the ethics of a citizen of heaven embodied.

There is no need to go crazy for discipleship training.

If you do not preach the word of life, you will get sick.

From a certain point on, one does not look at anything other than the Bible and books about the Bible.

Because I am not a being whose name is recorded in other books, even if I read those books, I cannot find me within them.

Only the Bible testifies about me.

If I knows Christ, the Bible reveals me.

The catalyst is repentance that involves dying with Christ and rising again with Christ to become united with resurrection and life.

Therefore, the Word, baptism, and Holy Communion are greater than intellectual or ethical education.

They serve as education of being, spiritual training, and a visible Word, truly appearing as a visual image.

The problem is that we must cross the hurdles of the blind—like booby traps—who believe only in "Jesus Heaven" and "Jesus Resurrection," without the resurrection of oneself who died in Adam and we believe only in the work of the Holy Spirit manifesting outside.

Now is not the era of a flood of judgment like in the time of Noah, but the era of a flood of salvation like in the Book of Ezekiel. When one becomes one with Christ through the Holy Spirit, one becomes immersed in Christ, the water husband above the firmament.
