 보스턴 남쪽으로 55마일 정도 떨어진 곳에 위치한 테이버 아카데미는 해안에 위치한 지역적 특징을 이용한 관련 해양 과학 강좌가 발달되어 있다.  또한 학생들은 스쿠너선인 테이버 보이 호를 타고 여러가지 해상 스포츠 프로그램을 즐길 수 있다.  뛰어난 교사진과 시설, 교육과정을 제공하며 각 학급은 소수의 학생으로 구성되어 담당 교사와 많은 교류를 할 수 있다.

 교내에는 강의실, 과학실, 관측소, 온실, 교무실 등이 있는 학술관과 컴퓨터실, 공연예술센터, 도서관 등이 있다.

 학생들은 과외활동으로 25개가 넘는 동아리 활동을 할 수 있으며 주말에는 보스턴과 같은 근교 도시에서 문화생활을 누릴 수 있다.  또, 20개가 넘는 체육활동 프로그램에 참여하고 특히 바다에서 보트를 타거나 조정 경기에 참여할 수 있다.
