The DarkBee,our Hope for the Future

"Sicmm"은 (Societas Internationlis pro Conservatione Apis melliferae melliferae)의 약자이고

영어로는 "Internationa Association for the Protection of the European Dark Bee" (유럽 검정벌 보존을 위한 국제적인 협회)이며,
Sicamm의 발기(시작)는 1995년에 "Flekkefjord" 씨가 설립하게 되였는데,
노르웨이의 양봉인들과 그리고 오스트리아,덴마크,독일,노르웨이,폴란드,스페인,스위스
그리고 영국으로부터 과학자들이 합동으로 유럽 검정꿀벌(Apis mellifera mellifera)을 보호하기 위하여 국제협회를 위하여 헌신하게되였다.
그후로 대부분의 유럽나라들이 이 토종 검정꿀벌을 보호하기 위하여 참여하고 있으며,
또한 Sicamm (국제적인 협회)의 중요한 활동은 매년 마다 국제적인 협회를 주최하는데 주동이 되고있습니다.

무엇이 "Apis mellifera mellifera"인가? 이 종봉은 검정 벌(The Dark honey bee)로 1758년에 "Linnaeus"(린나에우스)에 의해서 분류가 되였으며,
북유럽의 검정벌은 또한 독일의 꿀벌이라고도 불리우며 이 벌은 작고, 검정색의 벌이다.

북쪽의 지리학상은 Apis mellifera 의 서양 꿀벌이다.

유럽의 여러지방의 자기나라말로 이름을 부처서...

*영어로는 "Dark European honey bee" (유럽 검정 꿀벌)로 부르며

*불란서 로는 "L'abeille noire" (엘 아벨레 노이레),

*독일어로는 "Die dunkle biene" (독일 토종벌),

*스위스어로는 "Det morka nordiska biet" (뎃몰카놀디스카) 이라고 부른다.

Apis mellifera mellifera is distinguished from other subspecies of the honey bee by
a) Morphological characters, including colour, size, wing venation, abdominal hair length;
b) Genetic characters identifiable by DNA analysis;
c) Behavioural characters, including colony size and development, longevity, pollen collection.

* 이 토종벌(Apisnmellifera mellifera)은다른 변종의 꿀벌과는 다음에 의하면 현저하게다르다

a) 형태학특성: 색갈, 크기, 날개의 엽맥, 복부의 털, 길이

b) 유전학의 특성: DNA 의 분해

c) 습성의 특성: 봉군의 크기, 성장(발육)상태, 수명(장수)상태, 화분 채취 등이다.
