as harmful이 목적격보어, to the healthy adult가 목적어라는데요..

목적어와 목적격보어의 위치가 바뀐 이유가 뭔가요?;;

원문) Although caffeine is a moderately habit-forming drug, coffee is regarded as harmful to the healthy adult.

regard A as B(A를 B로 간주하다). They regard coffee as harmful을 수동으로 고치면 Coffee is regarded as harmful이 됩니다. to the healthy adult(부사구)가 덧붙은 것이고요.

저도 님처럼 생각 했었는데 A는 coffee 명사 B는 harmful 형용사라 썩 자신이 없었던건데요...

as 뒤에 명사뿐 아니라 형용사도 올 수 있습니다.

그럼 여기서 as는 전치사가 아닌가요? 뭘로 봐야하는지요..
