We changed one of the nine committee members in Korea Advisory Board.
As you can see in the attached file,
Kim Jon Yul has expressed his resignation.
Instead KANG Hyo Chan was invited as a new member.
Therefore, there is no change in the number of committee members in the Korea Advisory Board
Of course, I corrected some phone numbers.

최근 미국에서 캘리포니아와 뉴욕 주에서는 자체 면허를 요구하고 있습니다.
예전에는 7개 주 정도였는데, 지금은 캘리와 뉴욕 그리고 하와이를 비롯한 14개 주에서 자체 면허나 자격인증을 요구하고 있습니다.
대신 나머지 37개 주에서는 ASCPi 든 ASCP 든 자격인증을 받으면 동일하게 취업이 보장이 됩니다.
아래는 제가 문의한 결과 답신입니다....
Dear Hyo Chan Kang:
Thank you for your interest in ASCP International Certification. Please note that currently there are thirteen states that mandate licensure to practice as a Medical Technologist, including California. California recognizes MT(ASCPi) for purposes of licensure; the other twelve states do not, so ASCPi certification would not help international certificants to find work in these twelve states. Licensure states are listed on our web site: http://www.ascp.org/FunctionalNavigation/certification/International/StateLicensureAgencies.aspx.
The other 37 states in the U.S. do not mandate licensure for MT’s, so we believe that ASCPi certification would appeal to a potential employer. Both the MT(ASCP) and MT(ASCPi) certification examinations are based on gold-standard content and CAT (computer adaptive testing) procedures.
The primary difference between the ASCP and ASCPi certifications is that laboratory operations questions regarding U.S. policies and procedures are specific to the U.S. ASCP exam. (CLIA and OSHA regulations are replaced with International Standards (ISO) questions on the international exam.) Having the ASCPi certification demonstrates that you are as competent as an ASCP-certified individual in all other aspects of the medical laboratory.
