Today, I would like to introduce a proverb, an idiom, and a funny story that I enjoy.
First, the proverb I want to introduce is “Actions speak louder than words.” This means that what people do is more important than what they say. I think this proverb teaches us to be responsible and trustworthy.
Next, the idiom I want to introduce is “Once in a blue moon.” This idiom means something happens very rarely. For example, I eat fast food only once in a blue moon because I try to eat healthy food.
Finally, I would like to share a funny story. One day, my friend was in a hurry because he was late for school. He quickly put on his clothes and ran outside. When he arrived at school, everyone started laughing. He looked down and realized that he was wearing two different shoes. One shoe was black, and the other was white! He was so embarrassed that he could not stop laughing, too. After that day, he always checked his shoes before leaving home.
This story reminds me that everyone makes mistakes sometimes. It is important not to be too stressed about small mistakes and to laugh at them instead.
