From Nov. 2 to Nov. 13, the period was special time that I could learn and think very much. Before this teaching practicum, I thought that good teacher teaches well subject. But that was not.
First day, picture that children drew greeted me in the my class door. I'm so happy. My class is first grade student, so I have many experience. Especially in my class, there is child who is doubted ADHD. ADHD is attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I heard story from my class children. A story is that ADHD student explodes sometimes.
One day, lunch time, many children ran out of the classroom then said to me "explosion". I was confused and ran to my classroom. He threw stick and turned upside down the desk, then shouted. I tried to tranquilize him as homeroom teacher says. I hold his wrist and did no release, but his resistance became serious and he attacked my leg. Finally, It was solved by other teachers coming. A few days later, he didn't bring clay in my first class. So he disturbed other friends ,then homeroom teacher took out with him. He is very cute but teaching him is very hard. After school, homeroom teacher said about him, he had really many pains. So I felt heartbroken.
Nov.13, a last day, I could not believe that teaching practicum. Too many students absent in last day because of flu, I miss them. I learned many things in elementary school then university, during 2 weeks. I want to become teacher really.
