보격 관계 대명사의 경우 선행사가 사람이라고 하더라도, who/whom을 쓰지 않는다. 사람 자체보다는 사람의 인격, 직업, 신분, 사람됨을 가리키기 때문에, which나 that을 쓴다.
또한 문법책입니다.
관계대명사가 보어일 때, 선행사가 사람의 성격, 직업, 지위 등을 나타날 때, 선행사가 사람이라 할지라도 which 또는 that을 쓰는데 보통은 생략한다.
He is not the man (which/that) he used to be.
I am not a fool (whiich/that) you think me to be.
You are not the woman (which/that) I thought you to be.
He is a good father, which I am not. (계속적 용법이므로 생략 불가)
