차가운 바다에서 목숨을 잃어간 어린 학생들을 위해 아무런 기도를 하지 못했던 나를 생각해보고 이 찬송이 생각났습니다.
오늘 이 시대에, 모쉐가 홍해바다를 갈랐던 것처럼 하나님께 부르짖어 그 진도 앞바다를 갈라주시도록 기도하지 못했던 것과 그 배를 들어서라도 구조해주실 수 있었으며 바람으로 불어 물을 물러가게 하실 수 있던 하나님을 의지해 기도해보지 못한 미약한 믿음을 뉘우치고,
이제라도 죽은 자들을 부활케하실 수 있는 하나님의 능력이 그 배에 있는 실종자들 모두에게 어떤 방법으로라도 나타나기를 바라는 마음으로 하나님께 의지하고 기도하며, 슬픔을 당하신 유가족들 모두에게 하나님의 크신 긍휼과 은총이 함께하여주시기를 예수님 이름으로 기도하나이다. 아멘
