본문 : At the start of the game in 1444, one can only be elected Emperor if they follow the state religion - Catholic. However, Electors can be of any Christian religion. After 1550, if one of the Electors has become Protestant (but not Reformed) and the Empire hasn't been reformed to the point of becoming hereditary, then the Religious Leagues can be formed. Any nation may join either league, regardless of religion, including states outside the HRE. The Protestant League is created and headed by the newly-converted Elector, and the Catholic League will begin with the current Emperor at the head. After this, one League can declare war on another league at any time.

If the heretical religion (the religion that can't be elected Emperor, usually Protestantism) is victorious in a League war, they will be able to be elected Emperor, and the religion that could be elected Emperor (usually Catholicism) can no longer be elected Emperor. The religion that lost its Imperial rights can win this right back by another League War.

If the Imperial religion wins a League war, then the Religious Leagues are dismantled and Electors can only be members of the Imperial religion. This can happen for Catholics or Protestants, depending on which is the Imperial religion.

If any League war lasts a long time (exact time unknown), then a Peace of Westphalia-esque treaty is drafted, allowing any Christian to be elected Emperor. This is the only way for a Reformed, Orthodox or Coptic ruler to become emperor.

If the Religious Leagues are not triggered in the HRE by 1625 the Imperial Parliament convenes in a Diet to proclaim the Emperor's religion the sole faith. Also, after 30 years with no League War occurring then there is a chance that the Diet will occur in the favor of the Emperor. The mean time of this happening is 5 years after the initial 30 year and it will only trigger if your are at peace.

처음 게임이 시작되는 1444년에는 카톨릭을 믿는 경우만 황제로 선출 될 수 있다. 하지만 선제후국은 다른 기독종파도 허용. 만약 어떤 하나의 선제후국이라도 이단으로 개종하는 것을 막는 신롬개혁을 하지 않은 상태에서 1550년 이후에 개신교로 개종된다면 (개혁교회는 ㄴㄴ) religious league가 형설 될 수 있음. 이 league에는 종교에 상관없이 그리고 신롬소속여부에 상관없이 가입할 수 있음. 개신교 league는 개신교 선제후국에 의해 형성되고, 이 때 그 선제후국이 league를 이끔. 카톨릭의 경우는 신롬황제국이 이끔. 이후부터는 각 리그는 서로에게 언제나 전쟁을 선포할 수 있음. 

 이단종교가 종교전쟁에서 승리하면, 그들은 황제로 선출될 수 있고, 패배한 측의 종교는 더 이상 황제가 될 수 없음. 패배하더라도 또 다른 league war를 통해 다시 바꾸는 것이 가능.

 제국의 종교가 전쟁에서 승리하면, religious league가 해체되고, 오직 제국의 종교를 믿는 국가만 선제후국이 될 수 있음 (카톨릭, 개신교 둘 중 하나에서만).

 오랜기간동안 religious war가 발생하지 않으면 (정확히 기간을 모름), Westphalia-esque treaty가 재정되고, 어떤 크리스쳔 국가라도 황제국이 될 수 있음. (개혁교회, 콥틱, 정교회 포함)

 신롬에서 Religious league가 1625년까지 발생하지 않은 경우, 제국의회가 황제의 종교를 제국의 유일한 믿음으로 선언함. 또한, religious war가 발생 하지않고, 30 년이 지난 후에도 앞과 같은 이벤트가 일어날 가능성이 있다. 이것이 발생할 mean time은 첫 30년 이후의 5년이며 평화상태이어야함.

그런데 현재 플레이 중에 league는 형성됬는데 war는 발생하지 않네요. 언제나 war가 발발하는 것은 아닌듯
