<나면서부터 자연히 안다- People would naturally know from birth>
인류가 타락하지 않고 본성의 선한 부모를 통해 태어났던들 하나님이 있느냐 없느냐 하는 논란은 필요치 않았을 것입니다. 나면서부터 자연히 안다는 것입니다.
아기가 뱃속에서부터 젖먹는 법을 배워 가지고 나옵니까?
나오자마자 눈앞에 젖이 있으면 빨게 되어 있는 것입니다. 자동적으로 알게 되어 있는 것입니다.
인류가 타락하지 않았다면 하나님과 인간의 관계를 자동적으로 알고, 자동적으로 해결하고, 자동적으로 가야 할 입장인 줄 알았을 것입니다.
그런데 타락함으로 말미암아 전부 다 망각해 버렸습니다. 그래서 하나님이 있는지 없는지를 의심하는 결과의 세계가 되었다는 것입니다. 이것은 비참한 사실입니다. (20-306)
사람은 이 우주의 피조만물 가운데에서 걸작품입니다. 얼마나 걸작품이냐 하면, 여러분이 헤아릴 수 없을 만큼 크고도 멋진 걸작품입니다.
그러면 절대적인 하나님이 계셔 가지고 사람을 만들었다면, 하나님 자신이 말하는 것, 보는 것, 느끼는 것을 사람이 모르게 만들 수 있겠습니까? (53-51)
하나님을 닮은 아담과 해와가 인류의 아버지와 어머니가 되었다면, 그 모습을 통해 언제나 하나님이 계시다는 것을 역사를 통해 인지될 수 있었을 것입니다.
만일 그렇게 되었다고 한다면 하나님에 대해 의심을 가질 수가 없게 됩니다.
타락하지 않았더라면 언제나 볼 수 있고, 부르면 곧 나타나도록 되어 있었을 것입니다.
그와 같은 기준이 된다면 누가 하나님이 존재하지 않는다고 부인하겠습니까? 부인할 수 없다는 것입니다.
‘하나님이 있다, 하나님이 있다.'하는 것은 말뿐이 아닙니다.
원리를 통해 주체와 대상 관계를 중심삼고 볼 때, 하나님은 불가피하게 있어야 된다는 입장이 아니라 하나님은 내가 생각하기 전에 있었던 분이요, 내 모든 감각, 나의 일체를 주관하는 분이다 하는 입장이어야 합니다.
그것을 인식하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요한 문제입니다. 알고 인식하는 것이 원칙이 아니라 인식하고 아는 것이 원칙입니다.
우리가 추우면 춥다 하는 것을 알고 느끼는 것이 아니라 추운 것을 느껴 가지고 알지 않습니까?
이와 마찬가지로 신이 계시다면 신이 계신 것을 여러분이 느껴야 되겠습니다. 세포로 느껴야 되겠습니다.
그 경지가 문제입니다. 다시 말하면, 체휼적 입장을 어떻게 우리가 확정짓느냐 하는 것이 문제라는 것입니다. (58-291)

If humankind had not fallen, and we had been born through parents of original goodness, there would be no need to argue about whether God exists. People would naturally know from birth.
Babies begin sucking as soon as they are born, when they sense their mother’s breast in front of them.
Do they need to learn how to suck while in the womb?
They automatically know how to do it. If human beings had not fallen, they would naturally recognize and cultivate their relationship with God, and automatically understand that their position is to advance towards Him.
But the Fall has made people forget everything. This is why the world is in doubt as to whether God exists. This is a tragic fact. (20-306, 1968.7.14)
Human beings are the masterpiece among the created beings of the universe. How great a masterpiece are they? They are superb beyond imagination.
That being the case, when the absolute God created them, should He have created them in such a way that they do not know what He says, sees or feels? (53-51, 1972.2.8)
If Adam and Eve, who resembled God, had become the parents of humankind, they would have recognized God’s constant presence in them through His works.
Had that happened, there would be no doubts about God.
If the Fall had not occurred, we would be able to sense God’s presence at any time, and He would appear right away whenever we called Him.
If we reach that level, who will deny His existence? No one. (Blessed Family - 307)
God’s existence is not just a matter of words.
From the perspective of the subject-object partner relationship in the Principle, we do not need to prove that God exists. Rather, the position we must establish is that God existed before we had cognition of Him and that He rules over all our senses and over everything to do with us.
Awareness of this is more important than anything else. The basic rule is that awareness precedes knowledge, not the other way around.
When we are cold, we first feel cold before we think, “I am cold.” We do not first think “I am cold” before we feel it. Isn’t that so?
Likewise, because God exists, you must be able to feel His existence with your cells.
Reaching that state is what matters. In other words, the issue is how we reach the state in which we can experience these things. (58-291, 1972.6.25)
