    The number of millionaires worldwide increased by 12 percent year-on-year to 12.5 million in 2010, Bloomberg reported. The figure only includes those who have "investable assets of more than US$1 million, excluding real estate and property such as art."
   The U.S. accounted for the highest number with 5.22 million or 42 percent, followed by Japan and China with 1.53 million and 1.11 million, respectively.
    The survey considered 62 countries which make up 98 percent of the global GDP. The amount of global assets under management reached a record $121.8 trillion last year, up 8 percent from 2009 and topping the previous high of $111.8 trillion in 2007.

     Sex workers who work in brothels around Yeongdeungpo Station in Seoul wear masks and caps and carry out a protest in front of a luxury shop of Shinsegae Department Store on the first floor of shopping complex Yeongdeungpo Times Square.
