0611 Suffering for Christ’s Sake | 2 Timothy 2:8–9 | Pastor Jim Cymbala

We want [the comfort of faith without the cost]—but there’s no way /around suffering for the sake of Jesus.

* 목적인 명사구 the comfort of faith without the cost  명+형역 전구

* 전목인 동명사구 suffering for the sake of Jesus.

* 숙어 No way around it ; something is unavoidable, inevitable, or absolutely necessary. 피할 수 없는 어떤 것

NIV

8; Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, 
9; for which I am suffering /even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained.

* 삽입구인 형역 과분사구 raised from the dead, descended from David.

* 준동사인 과분사는 형용사 역할로 명사의 수동적인 상태를 설명함 ; 살려지신, 후손 되신 

 * 접속사를 써서 형절/계속용법으로 전환 할 수 있음;  , who was raised~, who was descended from David.

* 전목인 관계사 which = my gospel, for which = for my gospel, 

* 전목인 동명사구 being chained like a criminal. (be chained에서 be가 being으로 전환됨) 쇠사슬에 묶이기

8; Always remember that Jesus Christ, a descendant of King David, was raised /from the dead.

    This is the Good News () I preach.

 9; And because I preach [this Good News], I am suffering and have been chained like a criminal.

     But the word of God cannot be chained.

* 목적인 명사절 that Jesus Christ was raised /from the dead. 

* 형역인 동격 명사절  a descendant of King David = Jesus Christ

* 주어로 쓰인 지시 대명사 This, 지시 형용사로 쓰인 this (this Good News 형+고유명사)

* 보어인 명사구 the Good News (that/which) I preach.

* 수동-완료시제 have+been+pp ; have been chained 수동적인 상태가 과거로부터 지금까지 지속됨

(been은 be의 과거분사형으로 수동태 조동사로 쓰였고 chained는 동사로 쓰인 chain의 과거분사형임)

* 주의 chained가 과거분사형인 걸 알 수 있는 건 조동사 have가 쓰였기 때문임

* 수동태 be+pp ; be chained. 

* 주의 ;  chain의 과거와 과거분사형이 같음 chain, chained, chained

* 주의 ; 과거와 과거분사형이 같기도 하고 다르기도 한 동사는 무조건 외워야 함 go, went, gone 또는 put, put, put 등
