[전투기]F-15EX는 중국 J-20 상대로도 effective하다?

올해 1월에 나온 2024년 Director, Operational Test & Eval‎uation 보고서에 F-15EX가 'surrogate fifth-generation adversary aircraft'에 대해서도 operationally effective했다는 표현이 나오네요.

모든 위협에 대해서 우세한 거리에서 탐지하고 식별해서 무장을 쏘고 살아남을 수 있었다고 합니다. 'fifth-generation adversary aircraft'면 중국 J-20일 것인데, 여기에 'surrogate'가 붙었으니 J-20 역할을 한 F-35A였지 않을까 싶습니다. RCS 증폭기를 달아 RCS를 좀 다르게 했을 수도 있겠고요.

Against the level of threat tested, the F-15EX is operationally effective in all its air superiority roles, including defensive and offensive counter-air against surrogate fifth-generation adversary aircraft, as well as basic air-to-ground capability against the tested threats. The F-15EX was able to detect and track all threats at advantageous ranges, use onboard and off-board systems to identify them, and deliver weapons while surviving.

그런데 중국이 배치하기 시작한 장거리 위협 무기는 시험에 넣지 않았다고 합니다. 아마도 PL-17?

During IOT&E, the threat level was adequate for the current F-15EX mission set. However, the mission level testing did not include some advanced, longer-range threat weapons becoming operational at the time of F-15EX fielding.

use on-board and off-board systems to identify them을 보면, detect & track은 유리한 거리에서 할 수 있었으나 식별은 off-board systems(=AWACS?)을 활용했다는 것으로 이해할 수 있지 않을까요?
