The Lamps That Keep Burning(Exodus 27:20~21)

  “Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning(20).

  Missions is equivalent to shining the light of a lampstand that never goes out. When people fall into eternal darkness, their descendants also face hardship for generations to come. God has rescued you from that place. The wilderness path is unpredictable and you never know when trouble will strike or when enemies will attack. Sometimes deep despair may even come. Christ came as the Light, so when you accept Him, that light shines in you(John 1:11~12). Jesus said that you are the light(Matthew 5:13~16). When you believe in this identity, miracles take place, and when you share this light(1 Peter 2:9) and pray, works arise. What does the Bible say about this light?

1. Light Towards the 237 Nations
  It’s the light toward the 237 nations. Without the power of this light, missions can’t take place. This light is the light of creation(Genesis 1:3), and the light of glory(Isaiah 60:1~2). That’s why David built 1,000 bartizans to shine the light(Song of Songs 4:1~5). Ezekiel spoke God’s Word to the dry bones. As breath entered them, they came to life as anarmy(Ezekiel 37:1~11). God raised you, who was once in despair, as His army, because the Word is God Himself(John 1:1~14).

2. The Light of Salvation
  It’s the light that gives life to others. You’re to shine this light. That’s why God commanded that the fire in the tabernacle must bum day and night and that the lamps outside must stay lit through the night. Those walking in darkness find life when they see this light. The three courtyards

3. The Light of Healing
  It’s the light that heals the culture of darkness. This dark culture dominates powerful nations, while underdeveloped nations are completely trapped in it. Those suffering spiritually can’t be freed without this light. Offerings are part of the economy of light, so you must pray sincerely when you give your offering. Only the economy of light can overcome the economy of darkness.

  The beginning of prayer must always be the Gospel, and the result of prayer is evangelism and world evangelization. Your today is the process. That’s why you must pray with great power and enjoy the strength God gives.
