It is God’s plan and will for the children of God to save the world. For this undertaking, God has placed the power to save the world in our brains and bodies. All this power comes to life when we meet God. In addition, God has called us within the time schedule of eternity and has raised us as the ones to shine the light of the Gospel. When the Word of God fills our soul, we will open our eyes to see the present through our past and the future through our present. As such, we must remember a few things.
1. Today is the result of the past
Our ‘today’ is the result of our lives and thoughts in the past. That is why our present problems are related to the spiritual problems that began in the past. The scars of the past and spiritual problems have an impact on our life today. The diseases of the heart and mental diseases are far more frightening than physical illnesses and may bring grave problems. Nevertheless, God called us and gave us the light of the Gospel in order to resolve the problems that are rampant in this world. We just need to shine this light. We must begin our today anew.
2. Today is the eyes to see the future
Today, a day that is shaped and molded by our faith, creates the future of blessings that no one can take away from us. This is because the thoughts, actions and judgments of today form the future. Moreover, the resolutions of faith and devotions that we have will change our tomorrow and our future. God desires to save the world through us whose future has been changed in such a way. That is why God has given us our talent, vision, expertise and uniqueness. If we find this, we will be the summit that fulfills world evangelization.
3. Those who have seen the future have hope
There is a task and field entrusted to each and every child of God. This is because God has a plan to save the future through us. Even today, we must see the promised future in the field entrusted to us. Then God will undoubtedly give us that future, and the ones who have seen the future that God has entrusted to them can have hope. These eyes will open when we see the field, work and church entrusted to us today. Moreover, we will discover the reason why we must regard today’s problems as the answer and platform for the future.
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Creator God! Let us not lose heart as we see the problems that we are faced with today. Open our eyes to see today as we embrace the hope for the future and head for the answers You have promised.
