Is it already the middle of the month?
These weeks feel like they only just begin and then, just like that, they’re gone.
But the week isn’t over yet, because one thing was still missing: my letter.
So here I am, as always, with a new one.
Inseong, how are you?
How has your week been?
How are rehearsals for the festival going?
And all the other schedules coming up too?
I hope everything is going well, and I hope you’ve had a few days to rest and recover some energy and most of all, a little (or more than usual) time just for yourself 🥺
As for me, as always, I’m working and there’s been a lot going on. Lately the workload has been heavier than usual.
But I still try my best, to give my all and make my customers at the shop happy.
Sometimes I manage to take a day off, but for now I’m still working.
And during lunch breaks, or whenever I can, I prepare these letters that keep me company.
Inseong, for today’s letter I prepared something special.
I know, I know, I say that almost every time, but I really found something that immediately made me think of you and gave me the idea for today’s letter.
But before I show you what I found, I have a few things to tell you 🥺
We have to go back to your first pitch.
Like I said before, I don’t really understand baseball… or almost nothing about it, but for today’s letter I studied a little.
Not everything in detail, maybe I still have things I need to understand better, but I hope I managed to learn at least something.
If I make mistakes, please forgive me… I’m still a beginner in baseball, but I tried my best.

🎙️ Good evening or good morning ladies and gentlemen, depending on where you’re listening from, welcome to today’s match!
We welcome all listeners to a stadium that has transformed into the most sincere and sporty letter of the season, for the most anticipated game of the year!
On the pitcher’s mound we have me, the writer of today’s letter, or rather, today’s match. A slightly chaotic but unpredictable player, kind to everyone, capable of throwing perfect pitches that defy physics…
but sometimes also throwing a few messy ones that end up turning into laughter throughout the letter 🙈😂
In the batter’s box stands Kim Inseong, a player ready to fight with determination and strength. The moment he steps onto the field, you can feel his energy and passion for what he does.
There’s no stronger player than him!
First Inning:
So many words in this letter, but even more support and above all, sincere words. The crowd can feel the energy building; this is going to be a special match!
Second Inning:
Here come the first challenges and plays from both sides!
Support rising all the way to the stars!!!
Words paired with smiles that could explode with energy at any moment!
Third Inning:
The match continues, and we’re seeing Inseong’s talent shine. You can see how he plays with passion and works hard every single day.
A move that would make this writer proud and most importantly, make himself proud too!
Fourth Inning:
A home run!
The writer of this letter misses the pitch!
But this reminds us that falls can happen, what matters is getting back up again.
Fifth Inning:
Attention!
Both players are giving it their all now, and the support is huge, the cheering even louder!
Sixth Inning:
Kim Inseong, with his voice, but also with his kindness, makes an incredible play and recovers beautifully!
Seventh Inning:
But this writer doesn’t give up either. You can see the determination, she’s not leaving the field yet!
Eighth Inning:
How will it end?
It’s a tie, and only one perfect play can decide the winner!
Ninth Inning:
Look at the scoreboard, because with this play, the writer hits a home run!!!
And with this score, the game comes to an end.
But this match won’t be remembered for the score, because numbers are just numbers.
There were strikes, mistakes, impossible recoveries, but also successes and home runs, just like in life.
This wasn’t an easy match… but it was the most exciting one to write.

I realized I never properly congratulated you on your pitch.
So while I was out, I found this LEGO glove and it immediately made me think of you.
And with it, I wanted to congratulate you properly and tell you that I’m really proud of you and that today’s match, or rather this letter, is for you.
I’m so proud of you and every achievement of yours, Inseong, and with this glove I hope it carries even a little of how proud I am of you!
What impressed me most wasn't the pitch itself, but the courage it took to stand there in front of so many people and simply be yourself.
I can only imagine, or perhaps not even imagine, what you felt when you sang the national anthem or threw the first pitch.
I can imagine the tension was high, and that you felt the excitement of being in that stadium with all eyes on you.
But Inseong, you did an amazing job. You sang beautifully and handled this responsibility with elegance and confidence.
I am truly proud of you.
I know I’m a bit late… but as the title says: better late than never.
