But I can tell you that I'm actually happy this week passed and that I've made it to today, because I've prepared a surprise for you and I've been so excited to write this letter and finally show you what I've been working on 🙈

Let me calm down and take things one at a time, because before we get to the surprise, I have a few things I want to tell you—as always happens in my letters.

How was your week?
I imagine you've been working a lot, preparing all kinds of things, recording, rehearsing... But in the middle of all that, are you managing to take even a tiny moment to breathe and rest for yourself? 🥺
Especially now that the temperatures are rising and the days are getting warmer, please be careful and always keep a bottle of water with you so you can stay hydrated—something I should probably remember to do too 🙈
And Inseong, even if you're working mostly behind the scenes right now, that doesn't change the fact that I'm here supporting you and reminding you that you're doing an amazing job every single day. You work so hard, and I'm always proud of you, whether the day feels happy or sad, beautiful or difficult, whether you're exhausted or overflowing with energy...

I know I should tell you something about my week too, but honestly nothing new has happened. Work is still keeping me very busy, and now the weather is starting to get hot.
No news at all...
Ah, wait!
Today is actually my best friend's birthday!!!
Unfortunately I have to work today, so I won't be able to spend the whole day with her, and that makes me really sad 😭
But I organized a birthday cake for her, and tonight we're going to a really good restaurant! They make incredible meat dishes there, and they serve the biggest cutlets in the city. Can you imagine that one cutlet is bigger than my hand? 😱
Maybe it's the kind of place you would like too 🤔
We almost never go there, so we decided it would be the perfect place to celebrate her birthday 🥺
But after these little updates, Inseong, today I thought I'd talk about a sport that is very relevant right now and that I grew up wit and it's also connected to the surprise.
I'm talking about football!
You know, Inseong, I grew up with football because my brother has played since he was a little kid, and even now, at 25 years old, he still plays. It's his greatest passion. In fact, he even works in a football equipment store!
It's one of the only sports I really grew up around and watched on TV. Whenever the national team played, I was always ready to watch the match with my father and my brother, even though I barely understood the rules.
Actually, I used to yell at the television whenever something happened, even when there was absolutely no reason to yell 😂
I never missed a single national team match.
It's been a while since I followed football as intensely as I used to. Maybe it's because of work, or maybe because it doesn't feel quite the same as it did years ago. Perhaps the company isn't the same either compared to when I was younger.
But I still keep up with the results, including the World Cup now, even if this year I can't really cheer much for my own team.
Did you know I used to play on the PlayStation too?
And I loved playing FIFA!
Even though I was absolutely terrible at it, I admit it 😂
But I had fun, and I also loved Formula 1 games.
Actually, I have to tell you this story!
Whenever I played racing games on the PlayStation, I would hold the controller as if it were a real steering wheel. I didn't just press the buttons, I physically moved my hands and tilted the controller as though I were actually driving 😂
I think I would still do it today.
I simply don't know how to stay still.

Since I can't really cheer for my own national team, I thought I could support another team during this World Cup...

But that's not the surprise yet.

I've been working sooo long on this surprise.
Finding the original jersey during the World Cup wasn't easy because everyone wants one, but I managed to get it. Then I had to find a place that could print the name and number without making me wait forever.
And I'm so happy that everything worked out!
