Hello,

Here is a little text about my wwoof experiences in Korea:

When I arrived in Korea, I was first very impressed by everything I saw... flowers, people, meals, language... every thing was different from what I knew since then. But after a few days, I realised the I didn't really understand anything about what was going on around me. And then, I went wwoofing. First, Mister Choi welcomed me in his farm Jiri Bio Land: he was having a stant of home-made tofu for the red leaves festival for two days... in one minute I have been projected really into the korean society, running everywhere in order to be helpfull. The people coming to eat tofu were so surprised to see me working there! It was such a friendly atmosphere with all the other workers. After two days, one of the 'adjummas' give me a big hug... I felt close to everyone because they open the doors for me, happy to be there, like a little mouse in the real korean society, and so lucky to have this experience. After these days, Mister Choi took me around in a lot of great places anc restaurants, I had great beautifuls surprises and I met a lot of his friends... Now, I don't maybe understand a lot more what's going on around me, but I can 'feel' and like everything more, and that's the most important for me! I also learned how to make tofu, that's great knowledge!

In Je-Ju, I've been welcomed by Mister Yang and his wife in their Je-Ju Nuri Farm. We had a great exchange, they were so curious about me and my life, even if they only speak a little bit of english... communication was slow, but was present, and I liked that. They were so nice... I worked one day (seeding, harvesting tomatos and mandarines, tking care of hallabongs), and then had a day off. But I don't felt really working, it was pleasant and with a lot of break-time with delicious sweet-potatoes... Their place is really beautiful and peacefull, even if some time, I'd like to stay with us in their flat instead of alone there (in winter, nights are very long...). I'm looking foreward to come back there in 10 years as I promessed to do.

So, here you have a little text about my experiences... but I'm not very good in english, so you visit my blog (in french and in very good english) and take any part you want... go to http://voicivostok.uniterre.com

I will go to Jiri Bio Land tomorrow (we are sunday now) in the end of the afternoon, I don't know yet what time, but I will phone Mister Choi from the bus terminal in Seoul.

For the week after, about farmer Lee's house, I'm not decided yet... I will tell you what's going on until the middle of next week.
Thank you for everything,

Best regards
