Day 1: Sat/22 Nov. 2008
- meeting Mr,CHUNG & Mrs.GO at Kim DaeJung Convention Center for " International Food Fair 2008" in Gwangju -> having nice meal & friendly atmosphere & great evening at Restaurant in Gwangju with friends & family : we laughed a lot .... -> sleeping in living room of the Main House on "yo", the national mastress.
Day 2: Sun/23 Nov. 2008
- feeding dogs & ducks & geese early morning before going out... -> "International Food Fair 2008 at Kim DaeJung Convention Center" from 9.30 am to 6.00 pm. -> Taken many pictures with others Exhibitors, friends of my Hosts & people from other countries : Australia(Victoria), Russia(Altai), Vietnam....-> laughing again at Restaurant in " Naju "(Duck speciality)
Day 3: Mon/24 Nov. 2008
- help to wash vegetables to make mixed vegetable juice : very nice -> feeding ducks & geese -> start the fire of " Wash Our Soul House ", traditional heater under the floor(Hannok) -> visit the " Paradise House " with Meditation Room & waterfalls -> carrying on feeding the " Hannok " fire.
Day 4: Tue/25 Nov. 2008
- feeding dogs & ducks & geese -> starting fire of " Hannok " House -> starting cleaning " Wash our Soul House "-> lunch time -> shopping & visiting market of Youngam-gun -> meeting chiefs of Local Agricultural Bank -> finishing cleaning " Hannok " House until dinner time.
Day 5: Wed/26 Nov. 2008
- starting fire " Hannok " House -> feeding ducks & geese & dogs -> finishing to put plastic film over the windows against cold air of " Wash Our Soul House " -> going to the Shinbuk's Crossing road to wait the 4 American-Korean with their car because they don't know the road to the farm -> helping Mrs.GO for preparing lunch for 10 people :4 American-Korean , 3 people from Agriculture Banks in Shinbuk, Mr.CHUNG & Mrs. GO & me -> after lunch washing the dishes -> visiting " ChangPogo Memorial Hall " in Wando Island , with the American-Korean. -> Very interesting moment for me to understand a part of Korean History & Culture -> stop in a " Sea Food Restaurant " on the way back. -> Very good food with small octopus , very spicy for me but so nice.
Day 6: Thu/27 Nov. 2008
- helping Mrs. GO to prepare breakfast for American-Korean (4) & us (3) -> going to Yeong-am Gun for meeting Chief County Councel & n. 2 & 3 who work with : 2different meetings in different Offices -> going in a Restaurant specialized in beef. Very nice food. We were 11 people around the table for lunch time. -> after lunch, close to the Restaurant : a big Stone with the" Ki power " written on it & Hot Springs around & Recreation Area. Nice place to take pictures.... -> go back to the farm -> starting fire for " Hannock " House -> going with Mrs. GO to buy Spicy vegetables(Kimchi) & go back -> departure time for the 4 American-Korean : near 4pm. That was a very important moment of emotion because these men are very kind & simple compare to their high position in Society.... ->after departure, eating a little bit & resting with my Hosts together : sleeping in the living room -> dinner time near 6 pm -> checking after fire with Mr. CHUNG
Day 7: Fri/28 Nov. 2008
- starting fire after breakfast & making a logs' stack -> feeding dogs & ducks & geese -> carrying on diary : long time on the PC -> lunch time -> diary again : very long time... -> with Mr. CHUNG we went to a Korean Western Style Buffet Restaurant in Shinbuk for dinner time : very nice food as well & we were a few customers at the end of the service.
Day 8: Sat/29 Nov. 2008
- getting up late because I'm a little tired -> starting fire & I met Mr.CHUNG at this moment -> carrying on Diary : I need to finish before living -> lunch time -> diary again -> in the afternoon with Mr.CHUNG we close up all the cabbages in the garden against cold in winter with rice strings -> we carry on to cover up the windows with plastic film.
Day 9: Sun/30 Nov. 2008
- with Mr.CHUNG we cut a lot of log-woods for fire all the morning -> lunch time -> with my Hosts we went to Gwangju for a party of Korean Association of Agriculture followed by a buffet dinner style -> & that's it , because it's my last day in this marvellous place with wonderful Hosts
Day 10: Mon/01 Dec. 2008
- we finish to cover up with plastic film all the main windows in the morning -> Unfortunately I have to leave this afternoon .... for my next wwoofing, my Hosts pick me up to meet my new Hosts ....Thank you very much for all my stay with you in your place! "GAMSA HAMNIDA!"
