EXAM INFORMATION History: ; Reason for exam: eval‎ for signs of cirrhosis Comparison: CT, 4/17/2026 -------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS: Liver ----- The cranio-caudal diameter of the liver measures: 15.33 cm. The echogenicity of the liver appears increased. The surface of the liver appears nodular. No liver lesions noted. Normal flow is seen in the main portal vein. The hepatic veins are visualized. Gallbladder ----------- The visualized portions of the gallbladder appear normal. The gallbladder wall measures 2.6 mm. No gallstones visualized. Biliary Tree ------------ The common bile duct measures 3.7 mm. The common bile duct appears normal. The intrahepatic ducts appear normal. Pancreas -------- The visualized portions of the pancreas appear normal. Spleen ------ The visualized portion of the spleen appears normal. The spleen measures 9.62 cm in length. -------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPRESSION: * Echogenic liver which can be seen with fatty infiltration and/or chronic liver disease.
