영국 피터버러허교구 어머니 연합회 회원의 성공회 대전나눔의집 방문을 환영합니다.
하느님을 경험하는 성공회의 아름다운 전통이 어떻게 역동적으로 움직이는지를 대전나눔의집 활동을 통해 공유하는 자리이기를 바라는 마음입니다. 저는 대전나눔의집의 지도사제인 유낙준모세사제입니다.
I, Rev. Moses Yoo working in the House of Sharing very welcome all of you in Mothers Union in Peterbrough Diocese in UK. I wish that this visit will be a chance to see the beautiful tradition of Anglican Church in which God works in dynamics when we share the activities of the House of Sharing.
저는 오래전에 피터버러허교구의 시골성당을 방문하곤했었습니다. 노샘턴근교의 벅부록성당인데 지금은 은퇴하셨지만 그 당시에 티머시신부님과 그의 부인이신 에스터사모님이 사목활동을 하신 곳입니다. 조각천으로 만든 이불을 북한을 돕기 위해 바자회를 하는 것을 보고 피터버러허교구의 북한의 가난한 사람들을 위한 기도하는 기운을 느껴 항상 고마운 마음을 갖게 되었습니다. 오늘 이 자리가 그 고마움을 표현하는 자리로 여겨 하느님께 찬미를 올리게 되었습니다.
I have been to the Anglican Church in Bugbrook in Peterbrough Diocese for a long time ago. Good friends of mine The retired vicar Timothy Partridge and his wife Esther worked for the church. I have seen quilt blankets in the bazaar for helping people in N. Korea organized by the Peterbrough Diocese. It was really thankful to know the warm heart for the poor in the N. Korea. I praise the Lord to have you today so that I can show my thanks to you.
성공회는 교회의 오래된 전통이 집약된 고교회 전통의 가치를 중시여기지만 동시에 저교회전통의 가치를 중시여기는 아주 균형적인 보편적인 교회입니다. 저는 이 균형을 영국 피터버러허교구의 팀신부님과 에스터사모님의 사목활동에서 배웠습니다. 어디에도 편중되지 않은 중도의 여정을 유지하려는 전통에 숨어있는 가치가 너무 아름다워보였습니다. 아마도 제가 귀국해서 가난한 사람들을 겸손하게 만나는데 계기가 되었다고 볼 수 있습니다.
The Anglican Church values the high church tradition based on long tradition of the church but at the same time it also emphasizes the low church tradition, which shows its balance. I have learned this balance from Rev.Tim and Esther, which makes me to serve the poor in the House of Sharing(HS).
성공회 대전 나눔의집은 1995년9월부터 기도를 시작하여 1996년 5월 1일에 문을 열게 된 빈민사목의 현장에 있는 선교기관입니다. 가난한 사람들 속에서 하느님을 발견하고 가난한 사람들과 관계하면서 하느님을 기쁘게 해 드리려는 것이 대전나눔의집의 출발입니다. 한국사회에서 가난한 사람들을 위한 기관들을 세우는데 선두주자로 그 역할을 수행하게 되었던 것입니다. 탈빈곤을 지원하는 자활지원센터, 후드뱅크, 노숙자쉼터, 청소년자활관, 청소년쉼터, 드롭인센터, 아웃리치센터, 성매매청소년교육센터, 학교밖청소년학교 룩스문듸, 학교부적은학생적응센터인 가정형위센터, 청소년자립관, 로드스쿨, 평화의날 제정 등 다양한 활동으로 한국사회를 보다 나은 사회를 이룩하고자 했던 것입니다. 이러한 사회선교기관을 토대로 하여 성남동성당과 유성성당을 세워 일반사목과 빈민사목과 연계하여 선교활동을 벌이고 있습니다.
The HS is a missionary institution for the urban poor launched in 1th May 1996 through prayers from Septermber 1995. The aim of the HS is to please the Lord by finding God within the poor who we meet. The HS has played a key role of building missionary institutions for the poor. It has made diverse institutions and projects: The Self-help Centre for eradicating poverty, The Food Bank, The Homeless Shelter, The Youth Self-help Center, The Youth Shelter, The Youth Drop-in Center, The Youth Outreach Centrer, The Education Center for Ex-prostitution, The Alternative School Lux Mundi, The Home School 'Wee Center' for learning difficulties, Road-School, Peace Day project etc. They are all social missionary organizations to make a better society. The H.S. has also built the Sungnamdong Church before and Yoosung church recently, liking ministry for the poor and the middle-class.
이곳은 1996년 대전가출청소년센터를 시작으로 운영되다가 1998년 대전광역시청소년여자쉼터로 이어져 지금에 이르고 있습니다. 소장, 실장, 팀장, 상담원2인, 야간당직자1인으로 6인이 현재 근무하고 있고 이중 3인이 성공회 맴버입니다. 이 기관에는 현재 청소년 8인이 머물고 있고 3개월간 머물 수 있고 진로지원과 학업지원과 주거의료지원을 하고 있습니다. 80%가 대개 억압적인 가정으로 인해 가출하고 있습니다. 부모상담을 하고자 하는데 부모의 직장문제로 어려움을 겪고 있습니다. 주 1회 선생님들만의 채플을 하고 있고 거주청소년들에게는 종교를 강요하지는 않습니다. 그리스도교적인 영성적 분위기를 갖고자 노력을 하는 중입니다. 현장기관의 복음화전략을 세우려 애를 쓰는 중입니다. 최근에 여자청소년쉼터는 대안교육을 기반으로 하는 방향을 거시적으로 잡는 중입니다. 청소년의 학습권을 기반으로 진로를 세우고자하는 것입니다.
The Girls Shelter has been developed from the run-away youth shelter in 1996. Six workers work in and three are members of the Anglican Church. This institution can have eight girls for three months, providing services of education, developing career and medical and housing. 80% of residents are from oppressive culture of family and we find difficulties to make the right time for counseling parents due to their long working hours. I conduct the mass once in a week for teachers but do not compell the resident girls to join the church. Instead we try to feel them Christian spirit. We also try to build evangilizal strategy for them and at the same time to provide the alternative education to the school education, fulfilling their rights to learn in their unstable life outside the home and the school.
저는 유성교회(2012.3개척)를 담당하면서 나눔의집 15개 기관을 운영하고 있습니다. 유성교회는 작년에 개척하여 아주 작은 교회지만 주일 45명의 출석교회가 되었습니다. 9월초에는 새로운 더 넓은 성당으로 이사하여 미사를 올리게 될 것입니다. 바로 그 유성교회의 기도로 인하여 현재 나눔의집이 기운을 받고 있습니다. 아울러 대성당의 지원으로 나눔의집의 기관인 청소년자립관이 운영되고 있습니다. 채플의 중요성이 거대하게 드러나고 있습니다. 나눔의집 기관의 실무자들이 사회선교공부를 하여 부제직품을 수여하는 방안이 이루어지기를 바라는 바입니다.
I am also in ministry for the Yoo-Sung Church (built March 2013) with caring the 15 institutions. The Yoo-Sung Church is a new born one but growing well and recently has around 45 congregations. It will move to a bigger place and celebrate the 1st birth in coming September. Prayers of the church is giving energy to the HS. The Cathedral of Taejon Diocese supports to run the Youth Selp-help Center. I think that the Chaples in each institution is very important and expect that workers in the HS will be able to be ordained decons through studies and trains.
어머니들의 기도가 가출한 청소년들에게 가장 필요한 것처럼 우리에게도 어머니교회의 기도가 가장 요구되고 있습니다. 하느님께서 어머니들의 기도로 인하여 빈자들이 희망을 볼 것입니다. 바로 그 속에서 하느님의 관심안에 들게 되어 하느님을 기쁘게 해 드릴 것입니다. 오늘 방문이 기도 중에 이루어졋을 것이라 믿고 그 믿음이 하느님을 기쁘게 해 드리는 작업이기를 기도합니다. 아멘.

As run-away youth needs mother's prayer, we need the prayer mostly. The poor will see the hope because of mothers' prayer, which will be seen by God and please him. I believe that today your visit has been done through prayers. I pray that it is to make the Lord delight. Amen. 2013.8.1
