The Cotofenesti helmet and 3 golden bracelets,

some of Romaniaโ€™s mostย revered national treasures

from the Dacia civilization,

were stolen from the Drent's Museumย 

in Junuary 2025

when they were alone on loan for an exhibition. ๋ฐœ์Œย

Now the Northern Netherlands District Court

says the 3 guilty men,

whose identities have not been released

in line with privacy rules,ย 

warranted a custodial sentence

because of the nature and gravity of that their crime,๋‹จ์–ด

each getting 47 months the brazenโ™ฃ rubbery ๋‹จ์–ดย 

that shook the museum world.

2 bracelets and a helmetย 

were recovered early this year

off the after a deal with 2 of the thieves.

A 3rd bracelet is still missing.
