Oakland, California-based E.I.f Beauty has acquired Hailey Vieber's Rhode skincare brand in a $a billion deal. In the last year, Rhode had $225 million in net sales. The company's products are only available online, but by the end of this year, it plans to begin an in-store partnership with Sephora in North America and the U.K. Bieber is a model, the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and the wife of singer Justin Bieber. She'll be Rhode's chief creative officer and head of innovation and also a strategic advisor to the combined companies. she lauched Rhode, which is her middle name, as a skincare line in 2022 and has since expanded the brand, shich has become popular with young consumers.
