The Television network MSNBC will change its name later this year as part of complete divorce from NBC.

The new name will be My Source News Opinion World, or MS NOW for short.

MSNBC, shich will also remove NBC's peacock corperation logo from insignia, has been building a separate news division from NBC news by hiring new reporters and executives in recent months.

Since 1996, it's been known as MSNBC as a partnership between MicroSoft and NBC.

It runs seconds in cable ranking with personalities like Rachel Maddow, Nichole Wallace, and Ari Melber.
