브로드웨이 싱어인 메리 Travers(2009년 세상떠남),
그리고 가수이자 코메디언인 Noel 폴 Stookey로 구성된
1960년대 최고의 하모니를 자랑하는 포크 그룹입니다.
내면적이고 서정적인 포크뮤직을 주도했으며,
밥딜런과는 또다른 형태의 포크붐을 주도하면서,
사이먼 앤 가펑클이 등장하기 전까지는
가장 사랑받던 포크 그룹이었습니다.
