Ralf Eugen Barttenbach
(08.12.1953 - 06.08.2016)
Ralf Barttenbach was a European composer, songwriter, musician and painter. Ralf Barttenbach was born in Bavaria. He grew up in Abensberg in a musical, artistic environment. His father Hans Barttenbach played the violin and was a famous portrait painter. He became acquainted with oil painting and various musical instruments as a child. He played the piano, accordion, organ, flute, trumpet and guitar. He had the tools to play all single tracks of his pieces alone. Important to him was the closeness to nature. He loved to spend his time in his park, sitting there under tall, old trees, thinking, watching and meditating. He also loved the Staffelsee, where he regularly spent his vacation. He could just watch the water for hours and enjoy the sparkle in the water. He always had his guitar with him. He recorded the natural sounds with a tape recorder in his garden. In addition, he got up early in the spring and picked up the birds and their beautiful singing. Nature has always inspired him. Ralf Barttenbach was a highly spiritual, loving and humorous person. He volunteered for the Red Cross and supported Amnesty International and Greenpeace. In his free time, he liked to philosophize, meditate and play music. He was also a teacher by profession. In his lessons, he often included his own music. With his wife Eva Maria Barttenbach he has two daughters (Eva Maria Novak and Nicola Barttenbach).
Just before his physical body died, he looked up with a smile. He definitely lives on in his music and he wants to reach as many people as possible.
The music of Ralf Eugen Barttenbach is a wonderful meditation music for wellness, reiki, yoga, shamanic journeys or simply to fall asleep better. When you hear the music, you feel at home.
