카슈미르는 캐시미어(Cashmere)로도 불린다. 파키스탄의 북쪽 지역에 우거진 숲을 자랑하는 곳으로 수년 동안 인도와 파키스탄의 분쟁지역이기도 하다.
캐미시어는 이 지역의 염소 털을 가리킨다. 이 지역은 또한 헤로인을 만드는 원료인 양귀비 재배로도 유명하다. 레드 제플린의 멤버 중 아무도 카슈미르에 간 적은 없다고 한다.
