Be Right Faith is to abandon oneself & Obey the Holy Spirit
성경말씀: 로마서 7~8장
Scripture Reading: Romans 7~8
본문에서 “사람이 살아있을 때에만 법 아래에 있는 줄 모르느냐, 여인이 남편 생전에는 법으로 남편에게 매이지만 남편이 죽으면 남편에게서 벗어나므로, 만일 남편 생전에 다른 남자에게 가면 음녀라 하지만 만일 남편이 죽으면 법에서 자유롭게 되어 다른 남자에게 갈지라도 음녀가 되지 않음이라. 내 형제들아 우리가 죽었다가 부활하신 그리스도 안에서 하나님께 열매를 맺게 하려고 너희도 그리스도의 몸으로 말미암아 율법에 대하여 죽임을 당하였음이라(7:1-4)” 하였듯, 예수를 믿고 세례를 받는 것은 육신의 원죄와 저주를 그리스도의 십자가에 못박아 죽이고 성령으로 거듭나는 과정이지만, 죽기 전에 합당한 믿음을 반드시 이루어야 할 책임이 있습니다.
Believing in Jesus and being baptized is the process of crucifying the original sin and curse of the flesh that all people possessed in his hearts and on the cross of Christ and being reborn through the Holy Spirit, as “Do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to men who know the law—that the law has authority over a man only as long as he lives? For example, by law a married as long as he is alive, but if her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage. So then, if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress, even though she marries another man. So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God (7:1-4)” However, after that, he have responsibility to achieve proper faith remain before his death.
그래서 “오직 죄를 올바로 깨닫게 하려고 선한 율법이 나의 사망을 불렀으니 계명을 통해 죄가 완전한 죄악이 되었음이라. 율법은 영적이지만 나는 신령하지 못하여 죄의 종으로 팔렸느니라. 내가 원하는 것은 하지 못하고 내가 싫어하는 것을 행하니 내가 행하는 것조차 내가 알지 못함이라. 만일 내가 원하지 않는 것을 하면 율법이 선함을 내가 인정함이라. 악을 행하는 것은 내가 아니고 내 속에 사는 죄임이라. 내가 선행을 하려는 마음이 있어도 실행할 능력이 없으니 내 육신에 선한 것이 거하지 않음을 내가 아노라(7:13-18)” 하였듯, 우리의 육신에 있는 죄악을 깨닫고 그리스도의 대속에 의지하게 하려고 율법을 주셨습니다.
So, by seeing and learning the laws written in the Bible, we come to realize the sin in our hearts, repent, and have faith that relied on the atonement of Christ, as “In order that sin might be recognized as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful. We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it. But it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out (7:13-18)”
그러므로 “내가 원하는 선행은 하지 못하고 원하지 않는 악행을 하므로, 내가 원하지 않는 악행을 하는 것은 내가 아니고 내 속에 있는 죄임이라. 그러므로 내가 한 법을 깨달았나니 선행을 하기 원하는 나에게 죄악이 함께 있음이라. 내 속사람은 하나님의 법을 즐거워하지만, 내 육체 속의 다른 법이 내 마음의 법과 싸우며 죄의 법으로 나를 육체 안에 가두는 것을 내가 봄이라(7:19-23)” 하였듯, 모든 사람은 사탄이 심어준 욕심이 양심을 지배하며 죄악에 빠뜨리지만, 스스로 개선할 수 없다는 사실을 인정하고 그리스도께 맡겨야 되므로, “자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 쫓으라(마16:24)” 하셨습니다.
Therefore, everyone must realize that the desires implanted by Satan dominate their consciences and lead them to sin, but you must knowing that we cannot improve ourselves, and we must entrust ourselves to Christ and obey Him only, as “For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So, I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members (7:19-23)” That’s why, Lord Jesus said and instructed it, as “Must deny himself and take up his cress and follow me (Matthew16:24)”
그런 복음의 진리를 올바로 알고 따라 믿어야만 “그리스도 예수 안에 있는 자에게는 결코 정죄함이 없나니, 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명과 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 해방하였음이라. 죄의 본성으로 연약해진 육신으로는 할 수 없으므로 할 수 있으신 하나님님께서 아들을 죄를 가진 육신의 사람으로 보내시고 육신의 죄를 정죄하셨으니, 육신의 죄성을 따르지 않고 성령을 따라 사는 사람에게는 율법의 요구가 이루어지게 하셨음이라(8:1-4)” 하였듯, 그리스도의 대속으로 정죄를 받지 않고, 성령께서 가르치는 은례를 따라 임마누엘 하나님의 성전으로 세워지는 믿음이 됩니다.
Only by correctly understanding and believing the truth of the gospel can we avoid condemnation through Christ’s atonement, and instead, through the grace taught by the Holy Spirit, we can have faith that builds us up as the temple of God Emmanuel, as “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit (8:1-4)”
그러나 “육신으로 살면 육신의 욕망을 따라 생각하지만 성령을 따라 살면 성령이 기뻐하는 일만 생각하므로, 육신의 생각은 사망이고 성령의 생각은 생명과 평안이라. 육신의 생각은 하나님을 대적하므로 하나님의 법에 순종하지 못하고 할 수도 없음이라. 육신의 지배를 받으면 결코 하나님을 기쁘게 하지 못하느니라. 그러나 하나님의 영이 너희 안에 계시면 너희가 육신의 지배를 받지 않고 성령의 지배를 받으므로 그리스도의 영이 없으면 그리스도인이 아니니라(8:5-9)” 하였듯, 자유의지로 말미암아 육신의 욕망을 따라 실족하게 되고 그리스도의 은혜에서 떨어질 수 있음을 잊지 말고 두렵고 떨리는 마음으로 순종하는 믿음을 지켜야 됩니다.
However, even those who walk with God Emmanuel and are guaranteed power can stumble and fall from the grace of Christ due to the desires of the flesh through free-will. Therefore, we must keep the faith that obeys even to death with fear and trembling, as “Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can in to so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ (8:5-9)”
그래서 “그리스도께서 너희 안에 계시면 몸은 죄로 인하여 죽어도 너희 영은 당연히 살았느니라. 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 하나님의 영이 너희 안에 계시면 그리스도 예수를 죽음에서 살리신 하나님이 너희 안에 계시는 그의 영으로 너희 죽을 몸도 살리심이라. 그러므로 형제들아 우리가 가진 의무는 육신이 가진 죄의 본성을 따라 살지 않아야 함이라. 너희가 육신을 따라 살면 죽을 것이나 영으로 몸의 행실을 죽이면 살리라(8:10-13)” 가르칩니다.
That is why, the Scripture says and instructs it to us, as “If Christ is in you, your body is dead because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live (8:10-13)”
왜냐하면 “성령의 처음 익은 열매를 가진 우리도 내면적으로 신음하며 양자 될 것과 우리 몸의 구속을 간절히 기다리느니라. 우리가 이 소망으로 구원을 얻었다 하지만 이미 가졌다면 누가 바라겠느냐 이미 본 것은 소망이 아님이라. 그러나 우리가 아직 가지지 못한 것을 바라면 인내하며 기다려야 하느니라. 마찬가지로 무엇을 기도해야 할지 알지 못하는 우리의 연약함을 도우시려고 성령께서 말할 수 없는 탄식으로 우리를 위하여 간구하시느니라. 모든 사람의 마음을 살피시는 아버지께서 성령의 생각을 아시나니 성령께서 하나님의 뜻대로 성도를 위하여 간구하심이라. 그의 뜻대로 부르심을 받아 하나님을 사랑하는 자들에게는 모든 것이 협력하여 선을 이루게 하시는 것을 우리가 아느니라(8:23-28)” 하였듯, 우리의 구원은 육신의 죽음 이후에 완성되기 때문입니다.
Because, surely be accomplished our redemption and salvation is after death of our fleshly lives in Christ Jesus, as “We ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (8:23-28)”
그래서 “만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라(요1:3) - 하나님이 미리 아신 자들이 그의 아들의 형상을 본받게 하셨으니 하나님께서 많은 형제들 가운데 그의 아들이 맏아들이 되게 하려 하심이라. 미리 정하신 자들을 부르시고 부르신 자들을 의롭다 하시며 의롭게 하신 자들을 영화롭게 하셨음이라(8:29-30)” 하였듯, 창조주 하나님께서 예수 그리스도로 세상에 오셔서 아버지 하나님과 동행하며 임마누엘 하나님의 성전이 되는 믿음을 삶으로 보여주셨고, 십자가에 달려, “엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니(마27:46)” 부르짖을 만큼 절박한 순간에도 무한하신 능력을 사용하지 않고 “아버지여 내 영혼을 아버지께 부탁하나이다(눅23:26)” 하며 숨지셨고 사흘만에 말씀대로 부활하시는 생명의 길을 보여주며 가르치셨습니다.
So, the Almighty Creator God came to earth as Jesus Christ, walked with God the Father and taught us through His obedience lives thoroughly to God’s will only, being established as the Temple of Immanuel, as “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made (John1:3) – For those God foreknew he also predestined to be confirmed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among may brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified (8:29-30)” And, He taught us how terrible and desperate is the final test that all people must undergo before his end, when He hanging on the cross, as “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani (Matthew27:46)” Because, those who can surely be saved and resurrected, anyone who will not succumbing to such terrible and desperate fear, but he will be entrusting himself to God and dying as following the example way of Christ Jesus, as “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit (Luke23:26)”
그러므로 “우리가 날마다 주를 위하여 죽음을 마주하고 도살을 당할 양으로 여김을 받았나이다 기록됨과 같으니라. 그러나 그 모든 일에도 불구하고 우리를 사랑하시는 그리스도로 말미암아 우리가 넉넉히 이기느니라. 내가 확신하노라 사망이나 생명이나 천사들이나 마귀들이나 현재 일이나 장래 일이나 능력이나, 높음이나 깊음이나 다른 어떤 피조물도 우리 주 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 우리를 하나님의 사랑에서 갈라낼 수 없느니라(8:36-39)” 하였듯, 믿음의 길이 곧 죽을 것처럼 두려운 고난의 연속이라도 신실하신 하나님의 언약을 믿고 목숨 걸고 죽기까지 순종해야 구원을 얻습니다. 사랑하는 성도 여러분 모두모두 무엇보다 하나님의 말씀을 사랑하며 성령의 가르침과 사탄의 유혹을 잘 분별하여 믿고 신뢰하며 임마누엘 하나님 은혜와 사랑 안에서 죽기까지 순종하여 구원과 영생을 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.
Therefore, no matter how fearful and hopeless the path of faith or the final test may be, do not be deceived. Because, there is no other way, but to place our hope in the redemption and salvation of the faithful God of Christ Jesus, entrust ourselves to God and sincerely obey to him until death, as “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (8:36-39)” Dear brothers and sisters, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you all love the words of the Bible, discern the teachings of the Holy Spirit and the temptation of Satan, believe and trust, entrust yourself to God Immanuel, and sincerely obey to him until death, so that you may attain salvation and eternal life in the heaven all. Amen.
