Full Armored of the Holy Spirit can we Have Victorious Faith
성경말씀: 에베소서 4~6장
Scripture Reading: Ephesians 4~6
본문에서 “너희가 하나님의 부르심에 합당하게 살기를 권하노라. 온전한 겸손과 온유와 오래 참는 사랑으로 서로 용납하라. 평안의 줄로 단단히 매는 성령 안에서 하나 됨을 힘써 지키라. 너희가 다같이 하나의 소망으로 부르심을 받았으니 한 성령 안에서 한 몸이 돼야 하나니, 믿음도 하나요 세례도 하나요 주도 한 분이심이라(4:1-5)” 하셨듯, 말씀과 성령의 가르침을 따라 지키며 순종하면 임마누엘 은혜를 받게 되지만 구원에는 부족한 믿음이고, 그리스도의 대속과 구원에 소망을 두고 임마누엘 하나님께 자신을 맡기고 죽기까지 순종해야 온전한 믿음과 구원이 완성됩니다.
anyone who follows and obeys the teachings of the Word and the Holy Spirit, he will surely be received grace of Immanuel. However, like that faith is still insufficient. But, everyone surely be completely accomplished his worthy faith to saved if who trusting in Christ’s redemption and salvation, and entrusting himself to Immanuel God and obeying to Him until death only, as “As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called. One Lord, one faith, one baptism. (4:1-5)”
그러나 “만유 위에 계시고 만유 안에 계시며 만유를 통할하시는 만유의 아버지 하나님도 한 분이시며, 우리 각 사람에게 그리스도께서 할당하신 대로 은혜를 주셨으니, 그가 사로잡힌 자들을 이끌고 위로 올라가시며 사람들에게 선물을 주셨다 말씀하였음이라. 그가 올라가셨다는 것은 낮은 땅으로 내려오셨던 것을 뜻함이라. 내려오셨던 그분이 온 우주를 충만하게 하시려고 모든 하늘보다 높이 오르셨음이라(4:6-10)” 하였듯, 유일하고 전능하신 하나님께서 왜 성부와 성자와 성령으로 나뉘셨고, 세상에 오신 하나님 예수께서 왜 십자가에 죽으셨다 부활하셨는지 올바로 아는 사람만 구원의 언약을 신뢰하며 임마누엘 하나님께 자신을 맡기고 죽기까지 순종할 수 있습니다.
However, only those who truly understand why the only One and Almighty God was divided into the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and why God Jesus, who came to the world, died on a cross and was resurrected, he can trust in the covenant of salvation, and entrust himself to God Immanuel and obey Him until death, as “One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But each one of us grace has been given as Christ appointed it. This is why it says. When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people. What does ‘he ascended’ mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe. (4:6-10)”
왜냐하면, “우리가 다 하나님의 아들에 대한 믿음과 지식으로 하나가 되고 그리스도의 충만하신 분량까지 성숙하게 자라나게 하심이라. 우리가 이제는 젖먹이처럼 사람들의 궤변과 교묘한 속임수와 간사한 교훈에 속아 이리저리 밀려다니지 않고, 사랑 안에서 오직 진리를 말하며 범사에 머리이신 그리스도에게까지 자라나리라. 그에게서 온 몸이 연결되고 결합되어 각 지체의 역할을 감당하며 사랑 안에서 스스로 자라나고 세워짐이라(4:13-16)” 하였듯, 성령이 가르치는 진리를 올바로 알고 따라 지키며 순종해야 임마누엘 하나님의 은혜로 합당하고 올바른 믿음으로 자라고 죽기까지 순종하며 구원에 이르기 때문입니다.
Because, anyone, who correctly knowing, following and obeying the truth taught by the Holy Spirit, he can grow in a proper and correct faith through the grace of God, Immanuel, and obey to his God until death and attaining salvation, as “Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. (4:13-16)”
그러므로 “너희가 진실로 예수 안에 있는 진리를 그에게서 듣고 가르침을 받았음이라. 너희는 정욕으로 타락한 이전의 생활방식을 따르려는 옛 자아를 벗어 버리고, 오직 너희의 마음과 행실을 새롭게 바꾸어, 하나님을 본받아 의와 진리와 거룩함으로 창조된 새 사람으로 살아가라(4:21-24) - 너희가 구원의 날까지 인치심을 받은 하나님의 성령을 근심시키지 말라. 모든 악의와 울분과 분노와 비방과 악독과 싸움과 괴로움을 다 버리라. 하나님이 그리스도 안에서 너희를 용서하심 같이 온유한 마음으로 서로 용서하며 친절하고 자비롭게 대하라(4:30-32)” 하였듯, 우리 모두 인애와 사랑과 온유와 화평의 하나님을 본받으며 하나님의 형상으로 주신 양심을 회복하여 겸손하고 온유한 사랑으로 화평을 이루는 믿음으로 자라야 됩니다.
Therefore, we must all follow the example of God of mercy, love, gentleness, and peace, to restore our consciences created in the image of God, and grow in faith that brings peace to everyone through humble and gentle love, as “When you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires, to be made new in the attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (4:21-24) – Do not greave the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (30-32)”
그래서 오늘 본문에서 “너희가 지극히 사랑받는 자녀가 되었으니 하나님을 본받으라. 그리스도께서 우리를 사랑하사 우리를 위하여 자신을 향기로운 희생제물로 하나님께 드리셨으니 너희도 사랑 안에서 행하라. 성도들에게 마땅하지 않은 온갖 더러운 것과 음행과 탐욕은 너희 가운데 이름조차 부르지 말라. 어리석고 음란한 말이나 저속한 농담을 하지 말고 오직 감사하는 말을 하라. 음행하거나 더럽거나 탐욕자들은 우상을 숭배하므로 그리스도와 하나님의 나라에서 기업을 얻지 못함이라(5:1-5)” 경고하며 권유하고 가르칩니다.
So in today’s text to warning, advising and teaching to us, as “Follow God’s example. Therefore, as dearly loved children, and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure. No immoral, impure or greedy person, such a person is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. (5:1-5)”
왜냐하면, “본래 어둠이었던 너희가 이제는 주 안에서 빛이 되었으니 빛의 자녀 답게 행동하라. 빛의 열매는 선하고 의롭고 진실함이라. 무엇이 주님을 기쁘시게 하는지 분별하라. 열매가 없는 악하고 어두운 일에 참여하지 말고 드러내라. 불순종하는 자들의 은밀한 행위는 말하기도 부끄러움이라. 모든 것이 빛을 받아야 눈에 띄게 됨이라. 모든 것이 빛을 받아야 나타나므로 그리스도께서 너에게 비추시리니 잠꾸러기야 깨어나고 죽음에서 일어나라 하셨음이라. 그러므로 너희가 어리석은 자가 되지 말고 어떻게 살지 매우 조심하는 지혜로운 자가 되라. 악한 날들의 모든 기회를 붙잡으라 (5:8-16)” 하였듯, 그리스도의 대속과 구원으로 부르시는 하나님의 은혜로 믿게 되고 임마누엘 은혜를 따라 순종하는 사람들도 자유의지로 말미암아 끝까지 지키지 못하고 도중에 탈락하기 때문입니다.
Because, even those who believe by the grace of God who calls them through the atonement and salvation of Christ and obey God Immanuel cannot keep his obeying faith to the end, but fall away from the salvation to the hell by own free-wills, as “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light, for the fruit of the light consist in all goodness, righteousness and truth, and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said. Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. Be very careful, then, how you live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (5:8-16)”
그러므로 “어리석은 자가 되지 말고 주님의 뜻이 무엇인지 이해하라. 술에 취하여 방탕하지 말고 오직 성령으로 충만하라. 시와 찬송과 신령한 노래로 서로 말하고 마음으로 주께 노래하며 찬송하라. 항상 모든 일에 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 아버지 하나님께 감사하라. 그리스도를 경외하는 마음으로 서로 복종하라(5:17-21)” 하였듯, 우리 모두 끊임없이 하나님 말씀을 사랑하며 복음의 진리를 구하고 찾으며 성령의 가르침을 정확하게 깨닫아 감사하고 찬양하며 순종하도록 지속적으로 자신을 살피며 쳐서 복종시켜야 됩니다.
Therefore, we must all constantly love God’s Word, seek and discover the truth of the gospel, accurately understand the teachings of the Holy Spirit, and continually examine and discipline ourselves to be thankfully praises to obeying, as “Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. (5:17-21)”
그러므로 “세례와 말씀으로 교회를 깨끗이 씻어 거룩하게 하시고, 자기 앞에 티나 주름이나 흠이 없이 거룩하고 영광스러운 교회로 세우려 하심이라. - 누구든지 자기 육체를 미워하지 않고 오직 양육하며 보호함이 그리스도께서 교회에게 하심과 같음이라. 우리는 그의 몸의 지체임이라. 그러므로 남자가 부모를 떠나 아내와 합하여 둘이 한 몸이 될지라. 이것이 내가 그리스도와 교회에 대하여 말하는 심오한 비밀이라. 그러니 너희 각자가 아내를 자신과 같이 사랑하고 아내도 자기 남편을 존경하라(5:26-27, 29-33)” 하였듯, 누구든지 사람을 보지 말고 그 마음에 임하실 임마누엘 하나님을 바라보며 진실한 사랑으로 섬겨야 합니다.
Therefore, no one kook at the appearance of the people, but rather look to Emmanuel God who will come into their hearts and serve them with true love, as “To make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the world, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. – After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church, for we are members of his body. For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery, but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. (5:26-27, 29-33)”
그래서 오는 본문을 통해 “자녀들아 주 안에서 부모님께 순종하라 그것이 옳음이라. 네 아버지와 어머니를 공경하는 것이 약속 있는 첫 계명이니, 네가 잘되고 땅에서 장수하게 됨이라. 아비들아 자녀를 노엽게 하지 말고 오직 주의 교훈과 훈계로 양육하라. 종들아 너희가 그리스도께 순종하듯 너희 육체의 상전들을 경외하고 두려워하며 진실한 마음으로 성실하게 순종하라. 그들의 눈 앞에서 잘 보이려 하지 말고 온 마음으로 하나님의 뜻을 따르는 그리스도의 종들처럼 하라. 사람들을 대하듯 하지 말고 온 마음을 다하여 주를 섬기듯 섬기라(6:1-7)” 우리에게 가르칩니다.
So, through today’s text, teaches it to us, as “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth. Fathers, do not exasperate your children, instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart. Just as you would obey Christ. Obey them no only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people. (6:1-7)”
그러므로 “마귀의 간계를 대적하고 설 수 있도록 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라. 우리가 혈육을 가진 사람들과 싸우는 것이 아니고 세상의 악한 통치자들과 권세들과 세상을 다스리는 어둠의 권세들과 하늘에 있는 악한 영들과 싸우는 것이므로, 악한 날에 너희가 대적하며 모든 것을 이룬 후에도 굳건하게 서도록 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라. 굳건히 서서 진리의 허리띠를 띠고 의의 흉갑을 덧입고, 평안의 복음을 발에 신고, 그 모든 것 외에 악한 자의 불화살을 막아낼 믿음의 방패를 가지라. 하나님의 말씀을 성령의 검으로 가지고 구원의 투구로 쓰라. 성령 안에서 항상 기도와 간구를 하고 온 세상 모든 성도를 위하여 항상 깨어 간구하라(6:11-18)” 하였듯, 우리는 임마누엘 하나님 성령께 자신을 맡기고 죽기까지 순종하는 길 밖에 다른 길이 없습니다. 사랑하는 성도 여러분 모두 임마누엘 하나님께 맡기고 죽기까지 순종하는 믿음 잘 지키고 구원과 영생 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.
Therefore, we have no other way that to entrust ourselves to the Holy Spirit, God Emmanuel, and obey Him until death, as “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (6:11-18)” Dear saints, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you will entrust yourselves to God Immanuel and keep your faith in obedience until death, and obtain salvation and eternal life in the heaven. Amen.
