성경말씀: 디모데 후서 1~2장
Scripture Reading: 2Timothy 1~2
본문에서 “하나님의 뜻과 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 언약에 따라 그리스도 예수의 사도 된 바울은, 사랑하는 아들 디모데에게 하나님 아버지와 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 긍휼과 평강이 있기를 기원하노라. 내가 조상들처럼 깨끗한 양심으로 섬기는 하나님께 감사하며 밤낮으로 변함없이 너를 생각하며 기도하노라. 너의 눈물을 기억하며 너를 다시 만나고 기쁨으로 충만하기를 내가 간절히 원함이라. 네 외조모 로이스와 네 어머니 유니게의 거짓 없는 믿음이 네게 있음을 확신하므로, 나의 안수로 네가 받은 하나님의 은사에 네가 다시 불꽃을 피우기를 권유하노라(1:1-6)” 하였듯, 하나님께서 선포하신 구원의 언약에 따라 예수 그리스도를 믿게 되지만, 하나님의 형상으로 주신 양심을 통해 공급하시는 성령의 진리와 사랑과 능력을 따라 순종해야 올바른 믿음이 됩니다.
Everyone believes in Jesus Christ according to the covenant of salvation proclaimed by God, but only by keeping and obeying the truth, love, and power of the Holy Spirit supplied through the conscience given in the image of God can one have a proper faith, as “Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, in keeping with the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus. To Timothy, my dear son. Grace mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on my hands. (1:1-6)”
그러므로 “하나님이 우리에게 소심한 영을 주시지 않았고 오직 스스로 절제하며 사랑하는 능력의 영을 주셨으므로, 너는 우리 주를 증거하는 것이나 주를 위하여 갇힌 나를 부끄러워하지 말고 오직 하나님의 능력을 따라 복음을 위하여 고난을 받으므로 나와 함께 하자. 하나님이 우리의 행위대로 우리를 구원하시거나 거룩하신 소명으로 부르시지 않았고 태초부터 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리에게 주시려는 자기의 은혜로운 목적을 따라 하셨음이라(1:7-9)” 하였듯, 우리 모두 언제 어디서 어떤 상황에서도 자신이나 현실을 보지 말고 인도하고 사용하며 이루시는 임마누엘 하나님의 은혜와 사랑과 능력을 의지하고 확신하며 담대하게 전하는 복음의 증인이 돼야 합니다.
Therefore, we must all, regardless of time, place or situation, not look at ourselves or reality, but rely on and be confident in the grace, love and power of Immanuel God, who guides, uses, and accomplishes us, and become bold witnesses of the gospel, as “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So, do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life, not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. (1:7-9)”
왜냐하면, “이제 우리 구주 예수 그리스도께서 나타나셔서 사망의 권세를 깨뜨리시고 복음을 통하여 불멸하는 빛과 생명의 길을 드러내셨음이라. 내가 그 복음의 전도자와 사도와 교사로 임명되었으므로, 내가 고난을 당해도 부끄럽지 아니함은 내가 믿는 분을 내가 알고 내가 그날을 위해 부탁한 것을 지키실 줄 확신함이라. 너는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음과 사랑으로 내게 들은 건전한 교훈을 따라 지키라. 너에게 맡기신 선한 은사를 우리 안에 계시는 성령을 의지하여 지키라(1:10-14)” 하였듯, 하나님의 선하신 뜻을 올바로 알고 신뢰하며 맡기고 죽어야만 사망의 권세를 깨뜨리고 부활하는 복음의 진리를 확신하는 자만, 목숨 걸고 담대하게 복음을 전하고 충성하며 구원에 이를 수 있기 때문입니다.
Because, only those who truly know, trust of the God’s good will and the truth of the gospel that breaks the power of death and to resurrected, and he had confidently believed if he committed himself to God and die, Then, he can boldly preach the gospel even risks his lives until death and surely be attain salvation in Christ, as “It has now been traveled through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immorality to light through the gospel. And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you, guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. (1:10-14)”
왜냐하면 각자가 선택하여 믿는 대로 사용하고 심판하려고 사람에게 자유의지를 주셨으므로, “아시아에 있는 부겔로와 허모게네와 모든 사람이 나를 버렸음을 네가 앎이라. 사슬에 매인 나를 부끄러워하지 않고 자주 찾아와 격려한 오네시보로의 집에 주께서 긍휼을 베푸시기를 바라노라. 로마에서 나를 만날 때까지 열심히 찾아다녔음이라. 너도 잘 알듯 에베소에서 그가 나를 아주 많이 도왔으니 그 날에 주께서 그에게 특별한 자비를 베푸시리라(1:15-18)” 하였듯, 신실한 복음 전도자를 외면하다 하나님을 버리고 떠난 죄인으로 심판을 받는 사람들이 많고, 복음 전도자가 극심하게 매도와 핍박을 당해도 존경하고 사랑하며 돕는 극소수의 진실한 믿음의 사람들을 안에서만 이루는 것이 그리스도의 임마누엘 은혜이기 때문입니다.
Because, God given free-will to men to uses to judge or salvation according to chooses and believes everyone, so that many people turn away from faithful evangelists are judged as sinners who have abandoned God. Furthermore, Christ’s Immanuel grace is realized only among a very small number of people who respect, love and help evangelists even when they are severely criticized and persecuted, as “You know that everyone in the province of Asia has deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes. May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains. On the contrary, when he was in Rome, he searched hard for me until he found me. May the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day. You know very well in how may ways he helped me in Ephesus. (1:15-18)”
그러므로, “내 아들아 그리스도 예수 안에서 은혜로 강해지라. 네가 많은 증인 앞에서 내게 들은 진리를 믿음직한 사람들에게 맡겨 그들이 다른 사람들을 가르칠 자격을 갖추게 하라. 그리스도 예수의 선한 군사로 너는 우리와 함께 고난을 견디라. 군사로 복무하는 자는 상관을 기쁘게 하기를 원하므로 자기 삶에 얽매이지 아니함이라. 운동선수가 규칙을 지키지 아니하면 승리의 면류관을 얻지 못함이라(2:1-5)” 하였듯, 성경 말씀을 사랑하며 성령이 가르치는 진리를 따라 배우고 믿고 확신하며 순종하는 삶으로, 그리스도의 구원과 생명의 진리를 전하고 가르치며 영적인 전사로 인도하며 협력할 수 있는 임마누엘 성령의 전으로 세워져야 됩니다.
Therefore, we must love the word of the Bible, learn, believe and obey the truth taught by the Holy Spirit, and live a life of obedience, then, we must be established as the temple of the Holy Spirit of Immanuel God, to spread and teach the truth of Christ’s salvation and eternal life, to guide someone to be spiritual warriors and cooperate with him, as “You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules. (2:1-5)”
왜냐하면 하나님께서 누구나 믿기만 하면 구원을 얻는다 선포하셨지만, “열심히 일하는 농부가 곡식을 먼저 받는 것이 마땅함이라. 내가 무엇을 말하는지 깊이 생각하라 주께서 모든 일에 통찰력을 주시리라. 내가 전한 복음대로 다윗의 후손으로 오셨다가 죽음에서 부활하신 예수 그리스도를 기억하라. 내가 복음으로 말미암아 죄인처럼 쇠사슬에 매이는 고난을 받으나 하나님의 말씀은 쇠사슬에 매이지 않음이라. 택함을 받은 사람들이 모두 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 영원한 구원과 영광을 함께 얻게 하려고 모든 것을 참음이라(2:6-10)” 하였듯, 자신의 모든 것을 다 바쳐 구하고 찾으며 배우고 따라 믿으며 죽기까지 충성하는 자들만 구원하시겠다는 뜻이기 때문입니다.
Because, although God said that anyone who believes will be saved, but his meant that only those who dedicated everything himself to seeking, finding, learning, believing and obeying the truth of the gospel in the Holy Spirit until death will be saved, as “The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you, insight into all this. Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained. Therefore, I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (2:6-10)”
그러므로 “우리가 주와 함께 죽었으면 그와 함께 살 것은 믿을 만한 말씀임이라. 우리가 참아내면 그와 함께 다스리고 우리가 주를 부인하면 주께서도 우리를 부인하심이라. 우리는 신실함이 없을지라도 자신을 부인하지 못하시는 주는 항상 신실하심이라. 너는 그들을 이것으로 일깨우며 아무 유익이 없고 도리어 듣는 자들을 망하게 하는 말다툼을 하지 말라 하나님 앞에서 경고하라. 너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하여 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정을 받도록 하나님께 자신을 드리기를 힘쓰라(2:11-15)” 하였듯, 우리 모두 신실하지 못한 육신의 자아와 목숨까지 그리스도의 십자가에 못박아 맡기고, 임마누엘 하나님의 신실하신 은혜와 사랑을 따라 죽기까지 순종해야 됩니다.
Therefore, we must all crucify our unfaithful fleshly selves and even our lives on the cross of Christ Jesus and obey Him until death, following the faithful grace and love of God Immanuel, as “Here is a trustworthy saying. If we died with him, we will also live with him, if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will disown us, if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words, it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (2:11-15)”
그러므로, “누구든지 자신을 깨끗이 하면 거룩하고 존귀하게 되어 주인이 모든 선한 일에 사용하기에 합당하게 준비됨이라. 젊은이의 악한 정욕을 피하고 깨끗한 마음으로 주를 부르는 자들과 함께 의와 믿음과 사랑과 화평을 추구하라. 다툼을 일으키는 우둔하고 어리석은 논쟁을 피하라. 주의 종은 노하거나 다투지 말고 모든 사람을 친절하게 잘 가르쳐야 함이라. 자신에게 거역하는 사람이라도 온유하게 훈계하면 하나님께서 회개를 허락하시고 진리를 깨닫게 하시리라. 그러면 마귀에게 사로잡혀 마귀의 뜻대로 행하던 자들이 정신을 차리고 마귀의 올가미에서 벗어나리라(2:21-26)” 하셨듯, 자신의 몸과 마음을 성령의 진리와 사랑으로 깨끗하고 거룩하게 정복하고 다스리며, 논쟁이나 다툼이나 분노를 피하고, 반발하고 거역하는 사람도 그의 양심을 되살리며 임마누엘 성전이 되는 믿음으로 양육하고 사용하며 이루실 성령을 신뢰하며 온유한 사랑과 진리로 일깨우며 섬겨야 됩니다. 성도 여러분, 모두 양심을 통해 공급되는 성령의 진리와 사랑과 능력을 따라 순종하는 올바른 믿음으로 임마누엘 하나님과 동행하며 죽기까지 순종하는 복음의 증인들이 되시고 구원과 영생 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.
Therefore, we must conquer and rule our bodies and minds with the truth and love of the Holy Spirit, to making them pure and holy. But arguments, quarrels and angers. Instead, we must trust in the Holy Spirit, who will also revive the conscience and will establish, use and fulfills in him with faith to become the temple of Immanuel, even those who oppose and resist the truth of the gospel, we must awaken and serve with gentle love and truth them, as “Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purpose, made holy, useful to the Master and prepare to do any good work, Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge pf the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. (2:21-26)” Dear saints, I pray and earnestly bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ, that you may walk with God Immanuel with the right faith, obeying the truth and love of the Holy Spirit supplied through your conscience, become unto death and obtain salvation and eternal life in heaven. Amen.
