그 뒤에 목적어 그리고 동사 ing 가 오면 뜻이 전혀 딴 것이 된다.
'~ 을 못하게 한다' 라고 번역해야 한다.
주님은 (You) 제 눈을 감지 못하게 하셨습니다.
그리고 다음 문장의 too ~ to 는 너무 too ~ 해서 to ~ 못한다.
"저는 너무 괴로워서 말을 할 수 없었습니다."
