Stevie Wonder만큼 오랜 기간동안 지속적인 성공을 거둔 흑인 뮤지션도 찾아보기 힘들 것이다.
 1962년 불과 12살의 나이에 'Fingertips (Part 2)'로 세상을 놀라게 한 후 
1984년 'I Just Called To Say I Love You'로 전세계적인 성공을 거둘 때까지 
적어도 20년 이상 그는 최고의 흑인 뮤지션 자리를 놓치지 않았다. 
 




 맹인가수 스티비 원더..그는  "안 보이기 때문에 더 잘 듣기 위해 애를 썼으며가난한 흑인이기에 더욱 열심히 노력했다고.." 말했다..
