Job Function	We are seeking a researcher with industrial experience to join a team of talented and motivated engineers with the goal of developing cutting edge multimedia applications at the newly established Qualcomm Korea R&D Center. The prospective candidate will work on machine learning algorithm development for mobile multimedia applications.
Skills/Experience	The candidate should have at least 3 years of industrial experience in the broad field of multimedia. Basic technical requirements are: - General image processing/computer vision algorithms - Optical Character Recognition - C, C++, DSP, assembly Specific knowledge in the following area is a plus: - General pattern recognition/machine learning algorithms - Scene text detection algorithms - Optical character recognition algorithms - Object tracking algorithms - Computational photography - Embedded systems programming Additional Skilss: - Strong programming skills - Strong communications and presentations skills - Industrial experience
