Electric module의 목적은 physical quantity 인 E filed, capacitance, electrostatic force pressure 등을 electrostatic scalar potential을 풀어 도출해 내는 것이다. Solving은 식의 구성 요소인 space와 time을 변수로 하는 time domain 내에서 이루어 지며, 이는 각각 vector의 위치에 따른 크기만을 표현할 수 있다. 물론 E filed의 크기 및 방향이 frequency ω인 sine wave 형태의 frequency domain 도 다룰 수 있지만 이는 어디까지나 electrostatic scalar potential의 크기만을 취급하여 도출해낸다. 마찬가지로 electric module은 time domain 내에서의 electrostatic scalar potential을 근간으로 E field를 도출하기 때문에 이때의 E filed는 wave propagation 에 대해서는 고려를 할 수가 없다.
