Overview

FNS, Inc., in Bolingbrook, IL, is currently seeking a Purchasing Manager who will be responsible for various aspects of supply chain management responsibilities, including but not limited to, vendor sourcing/ eval‎‍‍uation, raw material procurement, market driven forecasting and more.

Key Responsibilities :

– Serve as liaison between customer and vendor.
– Manage and coordinate activities, such as PO forecasting , shipment schedules and supplier development.
– Problem solve any department related matters such as quality, shipping schedules, pricing, and more.
– Negotiate and finalize quotations and pricing.
– Responsible for tracking PSI and issuing import/export purchase orders as needed.
– Prepare daily and monthly r eport s to the management .
– Any ad-hoc responsibilities requested by the management

Requirements:

– At minimum +4 years of relative experience.
– Bachelor’s Degree.
– CPM, SCM, Six Sigma certification preferred.
– Proficient in MS Office products. (Excel/Power Point)
– Exceptional communication skills.
– Detail Oriented.
– Ability to self motivate, and to work independently.
– Outstanding interpersonal skills with customers and coworker.
