이 후에 여호와의 말씀이 이상 중에 아브람에게 임하여 가라사대 아브람아 두려워 말라 나는 너의 방패요 너의 지극히 큰 상급이니라 창세기 15:1
After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; Your reward shall be very great." Genesis 15:1
소돔왕이 아브람에게 이르되 사람은 내게 보내고 물품은 네가 취하라 아브람이 소돔왕에게 이르되 천지의 주재시요 지극히 높으신 하나님 여호와께 내가 손을 들어 맹세하노니 네 말이 내가 아브람으로 치부케 하였다 할까 하여 네게 속한 것은 무론 한 실이나 신들메라도 내가 취하지 아니하리라 창세기 14:21-23
The king of Sodom said to Abram, "Give the people to me and take the goods for yourself." Abram said to the king of Sodom, "I have sworn to the LORD God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth, that I will not take a thread or a sandal thong or anything that is yours, for fear you would say, 'I have made Abram rich.' Genesis 14:21-23
매 설교 때마다 그렇지만 오늘 이 설교에서도 여러분께 바라는 것이 있습니다. 그것은 하나님에 대한 오해가 풀리고 여호와를 아는 지식이 한 걸음 늘어나는 것입니다. 그것은 이사야의 입을 통하여 예언된 일입니다. “나의 거룩한 산 모든 곳에서 해됨도 없고 상함도 없을 것이니 이는 물이 바다를 덮음 같이 여호와를 아는 지식이 세상에 충만할 것임이니라.” 이사야 11:9 그것은 실로 하나님의 때에 하나님의 방식으로 하나님께서 친히 이루실 일입니다.
Like any other sermon of mine, today I wish something from you, that is, you will be restored in knowing God one step forward, that has been prophesied by Isaiah. He said, “They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 11:9 It really will be fulfilled in the time of God through the way of God and by Himself.
왜 하필이면 방패이신가? Why was it a shield on all occasion?
모든 믿는 자들에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력은 어떻게 역사하실까요? 소돔왕으로부터의 당돌한 제안에 “천지의 주재시요 지극히 높으신 하나님 여호와께 내가 손을 들어 맹세하노니 네 말이 내가 아브람으로 치부케 하였다 할까 하여 네게 속한 것은 무론 한 실이나 신들메라도 내가 취하지 아니하리라.”라고 일갈을 가한 아브라함에게 하나님께서 이상 중에 하신 약속은 “아브람아 두려워 말라 나는 너의 방패요 너의 지극히 큰 상급이니라.” 라는 것이었습니다. 정확히는 방패임을 약속하셨습니다. 그런 후에 상급은 따라 오는 것으로 하신 표현이었습니다. 그런데 당시 아브라함은 이미 전쟁을 승리한 승전장이었기에 하나님의 방패 약속은 좀 상황과 맞지 않는 느낌이 있습니다. 그러나 하나님의 말씀은 일점일획도 헛된 것이 없으십니다. 왜 하필 방패의 약속이셨을까요?
How will the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes work? To Abraham who had spoken to the king of Sodom not to take anything belonged to him in order not to be called to be rich because him, God gave a promise, “I am a shield to you; Your reward shall be very great." In fact, what God made a promise to him was to be a shield, while the reward will be followed. By the way, at that time, Abraham won a victory in that battle, in fact, the promise of God to be a shield was sounded little out of turn. But we know that the word of God is accurately correct. Then, why was it the promise of a shield of all occasion?
세상에서 인생의 모든 상처는 스스로를 보호하기 위하여 창과 칼처럼 날카롭게 변하고 겉껍질을 두텁게 합니다. 상처는 다른 이를 또 상하게 하고 그 상처에 의해 또 상함을 받는 악순환이 반복되면서 창조의 본질과는 너무 거리가 먼 변질된 세상을 형성하게 되었습니다. 우리는 이를 상처를 주는 세상, 심령을 죽이는 환경이라고 할 수 있습니다. 사랑이라는 이름으로 자녀를 죽이고 서로에게 창을 겨누는 세상, 거기에 우리가 놓여 있다. 이러한 상황은 택하신 자녀, 주와 연합한 심령의 경우라고 다르지 않습니다. 주와 연합하였지만 여전히 상처를 주는 상황 속에 놓여 있고 위협에 시달립니다.
Wounds of people used to make it sharp and thick in order to protect the body and soul. A wounded soul might hurt others, and to be hurt again in circulation to make the world be corrupted to be separated far from the subject of the Creation of God. We can call it hurting world and killing environment. People even hurt kids in the name of love sometimes. We are in such world, that is not different in the case of the souls unified with the Lord as well. We are still be in the status to be harmed, while we are unified with the Lord.
이제 주와 연합한 이들에게 필요한 것은 방패입니다. 여기에 그 이유가 있습니다. 주와 연합하지 않은 자들은 스스로, 혹은 세상적으로 단단한 껍질을 갖고 있습니다. 그것이 자신이라 생각하고 더 단단하고 더 정교하고 더 화려하게 이 껍질을 보강해 갑니다. 그것은 자아의 실체를 상실하고 혹은 망각하고 겉의 껍질을 자아라고 생각하고 살기는 하지만 그것으로 속을 지키는 껍질과 같은 기능을 수행하는 장점도 있습니다. 그런데 주와 연합한 이들이 속사람인 영혼이 주님의 부활의 능력으로 소성하게 되면 이것이 참된 속사람임을 인식하게 되고 거기서 시작된 회복의 역사가 겉사람의 모든 인격을 흐르게 됩니다.
Now what will be needed to those who are unified with the Lord is a shield. And there is the reason. Those who are separated from God have shell, and they would try to make it more accurate, stronger, and more splendid, thinking it as themselves. They might lose their own self with it, however, the shell can protect themselves against harm of outside. By the way, for those who are unified with the Lord, when their soul are revived with the power of the resurrection of the Lord, recognizing it as the true inward self, then, the flow of restoration goes forward to outward personality.
이 과정에서 이전에 주와 분리되어 영혼이 죽어 있거나 그 사실을 인식하지 못했을 때 가지고 있던 겉 껍질이 자신이라고 생각하며 목숨처럼 지켰던 것들이 이제 더 이상 목숨걸고 지킬 것이 아니라는 것을 깨닫게 됩니다. 그것은 자아가 아니고 자신을 지켜줄 수 있는 것도 아님을 알게 됩니다. 물론 이 마음이 그러한 것들을 무시하고 죄악시하는 시각하고는 전혀 다릅니다. 모든 것은 자신의 본래의 자리에서 본래의 기능과 가치를 가지고 있음을 알게 되는 것입니다. 그러면서 이제껏 소중한 것을 지키던 겉 껍질의 기능을 해 주던 것이 없어져 버리는 상황을 맞게 됩니다. 이는 마치 계란이 껍질 속에 흰자와 노른자를 가지고 있다가 부화가 되면서 더 이상 겉 껍질이 필요하지 않아 이를 깨고 나오자 이제 자신을 지키는 것이 없어지게 된 것과 같은 상황입니다.
In this path, we can realize that it is not valuable to keep the shell as like life any more. That is not self nor anything to keep myself safe. Of course, it is not the same with ignoring the original value of everything. Everything has its own value as long as it takes their own position. But while we are doing that, the shell to keep something inward will be gone, that is like an egg to lose its shell when it is hatched out.
하나님께서는 바로 이러한 상황의 아브라함과 또 우리, 택하신 자들이 자신의 겉 껍질을 깨버리고 나왔을 때 우리의 방패, 세상의 상처주는 해악으로부터 우리를 지켜주시겠다고 약속하신 것입니다. 아브라함에게 이 공격은 소돔왕으로부터 주어졌습니다. 그는 사람은 제게 보내고 물건은 다 가지라고 하였습니다. 이는 마치 둘 중 하나를 선택하라고 하는 것 같습니다. 이를 택하면 선이 되고 다른 것을 취하면 그렇지 않은 것 같은 상황을 만들었습니다. 그러나 세상, 즉 주와 분리된 인생이 만드는 세상의 핵심은 소유와 권력인데 여기 소돔왕이 언급한 사람은 곧 권력을 의미합니다. 이 둘 중 어느 하나를 택하는 것이 선이 아니고 오직 주와 연합된 자신을 잃지 않은 아브라함에게 당연히 필요한 것이 바로 방패, 즉 하나님의 지혜였습니다.
In this situation of Abraham and us, God made a promise to be a shield, when we hatched out from the shell, against from any harm of the world. The attack was given from the king of Sodom. He suggested to take things, but to return people. It looks like one of that selection must be goodness. But the core or the outward world to be separated from God is possession and power, that comes from the number of people. So it was to bring the wisdom for Abraham not to lose his own self to be unified with the Lord, instead of taking one of the choice.
이 방패는 삼위일체 하나님의 동행의 상황을 묘사합니다. 성부하나님은 우리가 처한 모든 상황을 주관하시고 성자예수님은 생명으로 연합하시고 성령하나님은 지혜로 참된 가르침과 지혜로서 역사하시니 세상의 구부러진 모든 상하게 하는 것들의 본질을 보게 하시고 더구나 그것들을 회복하게 하는 관점으로 보게 하셔서 그것들에 상하지 않게 하시는 것입니다. 이를 두고 이사야는 독사굴에 어린이가 손을 넣고 장난쳐도 물지 않는 것으로 묘사한 것입니다. 그럼 이제는 상급입니다. 하나님의 상급에 대한 언급이 있고 바로 나온 아브라함의 반응은 후사에 대한 것이었습니다. 이것이 상급의 해석입니다. 즉 하나님이 우리에게 주시는 상급은 소유도 권력도 아닌 후사라는 것입니다.
This shield reveals the status of walking with the Trinity. God the Father reigns all situation of us, God the Son unifies with our soul, and the Holy Spirit teaches us with wisdom to look at the world as it is like the beginning. Prophet Isaiah described it “The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den.” Now we are thinking about the reward. The mentioning of Abraham right after God said about the reward was about heir, that was the understanding about the reward. The reward God would like to give us is not any possession or power but heir.
후사는 우리에게 일어나는 영혼의 회복과 인격의 회복이 또 다른 심령을 살리고 회복하게 하여 함께 충만에 이르게 하는 상황을 말합니다. 결국 아브라함에게 약속하신 하늘의 별처럼, 바다의 모래처럼 네 자손이 많게 하시겠다는 말은 그의 숫자의 권력을 지칭하신 것이 아니라 회복된 심령을 가리키신 것이고 이는 결국 “물이 바다를 덮음같이 여호와를 아는 지식이 온 땅에 충만하리라.”고 하신 예언과 같은 내용이 됩니다. 아브라함의 당시 상황에 생뚱맞던 이 대화가 오늘 우리의 상황으로 보면 가장 적합한 것임을 말씀드렸습니다.
Heir here reveals the situation of our soul that has been restored leads another restoration of others to be reached fullness together. After all, the promise of God to make the sons of Abraham will be many like sand of ocean and stars of sky indicated not the power of number but revealed the restored souls, and that is the same meaning of the prophesy, “For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.” So the a little weird conversation between God and Abraham is proper in our situation.
