복 있는 사람은 악인의 꾀를 좇지 아니 하며 죄인의 길에 서지 아니하며
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
오만한 자의 자리에 앉지 아니하고
or sit in the seat of mockers.
오직 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하여
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
그 율법을 주야로 묵상하는 자로다
and on his law he meditates day and night.
저는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 시절을 좇아 과실을 맺으며
He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season
그 잎사귀가 마르지 아니함 같으니 그 행사가 다 형통하리로다
and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
악인은 그렇지 않음이여
Not so the wicked!
오직 바람에 나는 겨와 같도다
They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
그러므로 악인이 심판을 견디지 못하며
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
죄인이 의인의 회중에 들지 못하리로다
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
(다같이) 대저 의인의 길은 여호와께서 인정하시나 악인의 길은 망하리로다.
For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way
of the wicked will perish.

보라 내가 너희를 보냄이 양을 이리 가운데 보냄과 같도다 그러므로 너희는 뱀 같이 지혜롭고 비둘기 같이 순결하라 마태복음 10:16

산을 보았습니다. 산봉우리는 바위로 되어 있고 무너져 내린 흙들은 숲이 되어 있었습니다. 마치 봉우리가 산을 뚫고 솟아난 것처럼 보였습니다. 하지만 생각해 보면 바위는 처음부터 거기 그렇게 있었고 주변이 무너져 숲이 된 것이었습니다. 주님은 우리더러 “처음에 들은 것을 너희 안에 있게 하라.” 하십니다. 오늘은 주께서 제자들을 보내시면서 말씀하신 “뱀같이 지혜롭고 비둘기 같이 순결하라.”는 말씀을 생각해 보겠습니다.
뱀은 탈피를 합니다. 벌레들 중 몇은 변태나 탈피를 하지만 동물 중에는 탈피하는 것이 뱀뿐이지 않나 싶습니다. 그런데 뱀을 지혜롭다고 말씀하셨습니다. 그리고 이 뱀이라는 명칭은 태초의 에덴에 나타났던 바로 그 뱀을 지칭할 때 사용했던 것입니다. 그러므로 우리는 여기 “뱀처럼 지혜”로우라는 말씀을 단순히 뱀의 생태적 특성만을 생각할 것이 아니라 에덴의 섭리 속에서 이해하는 것이 좋겠습니다.
흔히들 에덴의 뱀은 타락의 원인으로 무시하거나 미워하는 태도를 보입니다. 하지만 주께서 제자들을 보내실 때 이 뱀의 지혜를 사용하라고 하신 것입니다. 이는 회복된 인격과 제자의 사역에서는 뱀도 역시 본래의 위치에서 본연의 역할을 하고 있다는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 그는 더 이상 마귀가 아닌 것입니다. 즉 주님께서 본문에 하신 말씀은 회복된 인격, 회복된 교회의 모습과 기능을 말씀하신 것입니다.
제자들은 각동각처로 보내졌고 그곳의 상황과 형편은 다 서로 같지 않았습니다. 제자들은 한 가지 고정된 형태를 고집할 수 없었습니다. 고린도에서는 뱃사람들을 상대해야 했고 이방신을 섬기는 여사제들을 경계해야 했습니다. 빌립보에서는 가정교회를 시작했고 재정의 문제로 인해 천막짜는 일을 해야 했습니다. 물론 이는 바울의 경우였습니다. 제자들 역시 다르지 않았습니다. 그들은 모두 뱀의 지혜를 사용했습니다.
우리는 아브라함이 이삭을 낳기 전까지의 수고를 압니다. 그 모든 것들은 결국 헛수고였지만 믿음으로 이삭을 낳은 후에 아브라함이 이전의 모든 수고를 더 이상하지 않았다고 볼 수 없습니다. 그는 여전히 자신의 지혜대로 이것저것을 시도하였을 것입니다. 그러나 그것들로 인해 하나님의 섭리가 성취된 것은 아닙니다. 하지만 그가 시도하는 모든 것들로 인해 하나님의 섭리가 방해 받지도 않았을 것입니다.
주와 하나 된 인격, 그리스도와 연합한 교회는 고정되어 있지 않습니다. 기독교는 시대와 상황에 따라 문화를 만들어냅니다. 제도와 프로그램을 운영하기도 합니다. 그러나 그것들이 본질은 아닙니다. 문화를 지키는 것이 그리스도의 도를 전하는 것은 아닙니다. 참된 그리스도의 복음의 본질은 ‘비둘기같이 순결하라.’는 내용에 담겨있습니다. 이 순결을 지키는 것이 그리스도 복음으로 회복된 것이며 거기에서 비로소 뱀은 유용한 도움이 됩니다.
우리가 그리스도와 연합한 것을 알게 된 것이 우리가 처음부터 들은 것입니다. 그리고 우리는 거기서 한 발자국도 더 나아가지 않았습니다. 왜냐하면 그럴 필요가 없기 때문입니다. 우리는 처음부터 들을 것을 간직하고 있었고 거기에 모든 것이 다 들어있기 때문입니다. 나머지는 하나님께서 하나님의 때에 하나님의 방식으로 회복하게 하시는 순서를 밟는 것뿐입니다. 그리고 회복된 이들은 보내질 것입니다. 비둘기의 순결과 뱀의 지혜를 갖고서.
We saw the mountain. The peak was made of rocks, and the soil that had fallen down became a forest. It looked as if the peak had risen through the mountain. But when you think about it, the rock was there from the beginning, and its surroundings collapsed into a forest. The Lord says to us, "Be in you what you heard at first." Today, let us consider the words of the Lord, "Be wise like a snake and be pure like a pigeon," while sending his disciples.
Snakes molt. Some of the worms molt and molt, but I think snakes are the only animals that molt. But you mentioned the snake as wisdom. And this name was used to refer to the very snake that appeared in Eden in the beginning. So we'd better understand the word "wisdom like a snake" here in Eden's providence, not just thinking about the ecological characteristics of the snake.
Eden's snake is frequently ignored or hated as a cause of depravity. But the LORD asked you to use this snake's wisdom when sending your disciples. This shows that snakes also play their natural role in their original position in the restored personality and the disciples' ministry. He is no longer a devil. In other words, what the Lord said in the text was a restored personality and the appearance and function of the restored church.
The disciples were sent to different places, where the circumstances and circumstances were not the same. The disciples could not insist on one fixed form. In Corinth, they had to deal with the seafarers and be wary of the priests who served the Gentiles. Due to financial difficulties, they started a family church in Philippebo and had to work as tents. Of course, this was Paul's case. The disciples were no different. They all used the wisdom of the snake.
We know the hard work Abraham did before giving birth to Isaac. All of those things were in vain in the end, but after giving birth to Isaac by faith, we can't see that Abraham wasn't any stranger to all of his previous trouble. He would still have tried this and that in his wisdom. But they did not achieve God's providence. But all of the things he tried would not have hindered his providence.
The Church, united with the Lord, and united with Christ, is not fixed. Christianity creates a culture according to the times and circumstances. It also operates institutions and programs. However, they are not the essence. Protecting culture does not convey Christ's Tao. The essence of the gospel of true Christ is contained in the content of 'Purity like a pigeon.' Observing this purity is restored to the gospel of Christ, and snakes are only useful there.
It is what we have heard from the beginning that we are united with Christ. And we have not taken a step further from there, because we have no need to. We have kept what we have to hear from the beginning, and everything is contained in it. The rest is to take steps that allow God to recover in God's ways in his time. And those who have recovered will be sent away, with the purity of the doves and the wisdom of the serpent.
