지금까지 많은 종교가 나와 있는데, 그 사명이 뭐냐? 한 사람을 찾자는 것입니다. 수많은 종교가 구원을 얻고 뭐 어쩐다고 하지만 세계적으로 추려서 최고의 자리에 올라갈 수 있는 사람, 그 자리를 넘어선 그 한 사람을 찾자는 것입니다. 그 한 사람을 세우자는 것입니다.
이렇듯 모든 종교의 중심은 한 사람인데, 그런 존재가 누구냐 하면 메시아라는 것입니다. 다시 말하면, 모든 종교가 한 사람을 찾아 나오는데 그 한 사람, 중심존재가 누구냐 하면 메시아, 구주라는 것입니다. 메시아가 오는 데는 그 자리에 대번에 오는 것이 아닙니다. 7년노정을 거쳐야 됩니다. 메시아는 남자입니다. 그 메시아가 와서 사탄세계에서 혈통적인 관계를 초월하여 사탄을 이겨야 합니다.
이긴 그 남자를 중심삼고 가정적으로 이겨야 되고, 종족적으로 이겨야 되고, 민족적으로 이겨야 되고, 국가적으로 이긴 터전을 만들어 놓아야 된다는 것입니다. 남자 하나만 가지고는 안 됩니다. 즉, 사탄세계보다도 나아야 된다는 것입니다. 사탄세계에 속한 가정보다 우위에 서지 않고는 메시아는 그들을 거느릴 수 있는 입장이 못 되는 겁니다.
사탄세계의 최고 기준이 뭐냐 하면 국가입니다. 사탄은 언제나 국가를 중심삼고 반대해 나왔습니다. 사탄은 나라를 가졌기 때문에 그 나라를 중심삼고 개인적으로도 하늘을 때렸고, 가정적으로도 하늘을 때렸고, 종족적으로도 하늘을 때렸고, 민족적으로도 하늘을 때렸던 것입니다. 언제나 이 나라를 중심삼고 하늘이 닦아 나온 길을 방해해 나왔다는 것입니다.
결국 반대받고 핍박받는 것은 못하기 때문이지, 나으면 도리어 핍박할 수 있고 지배할 수 있는 것입니다. 인간이 타락함으로 말미암아 이 세계는 사탄세계가 되었기 때문에, 이 세계에는 사탄편 개인도 얼마든지 있는 것이요, 가정도 얼마든지 있는 것이요, 종족도 얼마든지 있는 것이요, 국가도 얼마든지 있는 것입니다. 그렇지만 하늘편은 없다 이겁니다. 개인은 있지만 그 기준에 올라온 가정이나 종족이나 민족이나 국가가 없다는 것입니다.
결국 메시아 개인으로서 가정을 이기고, 메시아 개인으로서 종족을 이기고, 메시아 개인으로서 국가를 이길 수 있는 터전이 없어 가지고는 일반 사람이 올라갈 길이 없다는 것입니다. 그래서 하나님은 이 땅 위에 메시아가 오게 된다면, 메시아를 따라 같이 올라갈 수 있는 권(圈)을 개인으로부터 가정을 거쳐서 준비해 놓았는데, 그것이 이스라엘 민족입니다. 그리고 그 사상이 선민사상입니다.
그러나 이스라엘 나라는 아직까지 여기에 올라가지 못했습니다. 선(線)에 걸린 것과 마찬가지입니다. 그렇기 때문에 선민의 소망이 뭐냐 하면, 이 선을 넘어서는 것입니다. 이 선을 넘어서야지 넘어서지 않으면 큰일난다는 것입니다. 그렇지만 이 선을 넘어서려고 해도 자기들끼리는 넘어설 길이 없습니다.
그러니까 하나님은 이스라엘 민족에게 메시아, 즉 구주를 보낸다는 약속을 했던 것입니다. 하나님이 이것을 국가적으로 넘기기 위해서 수천년 동안 준비하신 것이 메시아입니다. 메시아를 보낸다는 약속을 하신 것입니다.
그래서 이스라엘 민족 앞에 메시아가 오게 되면, 그 메시아를 중심삼고 죽더라도 같이 죽겠다는 입장이 되어서 사탄이 떼려야 뗄 수 없게끔 온전히 하나되면, 거기서부터 개인적으로 접붙이고, 가정적으로 접붙이고, 종족적으로 접붙이고, 민족적으로 접붙이고, 국가적으로 접붙여서 그들을 일시에 다 여기까지 끌어올릴 수 있다는 것입니다.
그렇기 때문에 이 세계에는 선민사상이 있어야 합니다. 그래 가지고 하나님이 택한 민족을 중심삼고 하나님이 택할 수 있는 국가를 형성해야 된다는 것입니다. 선민이 있다는 말 자체는 하나님이 있다는 사실을 증거하는 것입니다. 이런 원칙으로 볼 때, 메시아를 보내겠다고 하는 예언이 있다는 것은 하나님이 있음을 증거하는 겁니다.
그러면 우리가 메시아를 필요로 하게 된 것은 무슨 목적이 있어서냐? 그게 문제입니다. 타락함으로 말미암아 우리는 거짓 부모를 가졌습니다. 하나님과 하나된 부모가 없어졌다는 것입니다. 하나님과 하나될 수 있는 부모의 자리를 우리에게 갖다 주는 분이 메시아입니다. 이것이 첫째입니다.
둘째는 뭐냐 하면, 우리를 다시 낳아 주는 것입니다. 결국은 우리의 몸에 사탄의 피가 있으니까, 그 피를 빼내어 사탄의 아들딸이 아니라는 입장으로 우리를 접붙여서 다시 낳아 준다는 것입니다.
셋째는 뭐냐 하면, 메시아는 우리 인간으로 하여금, 사탄 마귀를 종새끼로 만들어서 종으로 부릴 수 있는 사람으로 만들어 낸다는 것입니다. 즉, 우리 인간들 앞에 메시아가 와서 우리로 하여금 사탄을 굴복시켜서 종으로 만들 수 있는, 사탄을 굴복시켜서 그를 처단할 수 있는 자격자로 만들어 준다는 것입니다.
결국 인간이 타락했기 때문에 첫째는 부모를 잃어버렸고, 둘째는 사탄의 피를 받았고, 셋째는 사탄의 지배를 받게 되었습니다. 그러니 그것을 복귀하기 위해서는 거꾸로 올라가야 한다는 것입니다. 원리를 보면, 믿음의 기대가 있고 실체기대가 있습니다. 믿음의 기대를 이루고 실체기대를 이루어야 메시아를 바랄 수 있게 되어 있습니다. 이것이 원리입니다. 그러므로 믿음의 기대와 실체기대까지 이루자는 것입니다. (54-182)
今まで宗教が出てきていますが、使命は何かというと、一人を探そうということです。数多くの宗教が救いを得て何がどうだと言いますが、世界的によりすぐって、最高の位置に上がりうる人、その位置を超えたその一人を探そうというのです。その一人を立てようというのです。
このように、すべての宗教の中心は、一人ですが、その存在が誰かというと、メシアというものです。言い換えれば、すべての宗教が一人を探してくるのに、その一人、中心存在が誰かといえば、メシア、救世主というものです。
メシアが来る所には、その場に一度に来るのではありません。七年路程を経なければなりません。メシアは男です。そのメシアが来て、サタン世界で血統的な関係を超越して、サタンに勝たなければなりません。
勝ったその男を中心として、家庭的に勝たなければならず、氏族的に勝たなければならず、民族的に勝たなければならず、国家的に勝った基盤を作っておかなければならないのです。男一人だけをもってしてはいけません。すなわち、サタン世界よりもましにならなければなりません。サタン世界に属した家庭より優位に立たなくては、メシアは彼らを率いることができる立場になれないのです。
サタン世界の最高の基準が何かというと、国家というものです、国家。サタンは、いつも国家を中心として反対してきました。サタンは、国を持ったために、その国を中心として個人的にも天を叩き、家庭的にも天を叩き、氏族的にも天を叩き、民族的にも天を叩いたのです。いつもこの国を中心として、天が築いてきた道をいつも妨害してきたのです。
結局、反対されて迫害されるのは、劣っているためであって、勝っているならかえって迫害することができ、支配することができるのです。人間が堕落したことによって、この世界はサタン世界になったために、この世界にはサタン側の個人もいくらでもいるのであり、家庭もいくらでもいるのであり、氏族もいくらでもいるのであり、国家もいくらでもあるのです。ですが、天の側はいないのです。個人はいますが、その基準に上がった家庭や、氏族や、民族や、国家がないのです。
結局、メシア個人として家庭に勝ち、メシア個人として氏族に勝ち、メシア個人として国家に勝ちうる基盤がなくては、一般の人が上がる道がないということです。
それで、神様は、この地上にメシアが来るようになれば、メシアに従って共に上がりうる圏を、個人から家庭を経て準備しておきましたが、それがイスラエル民族です。そして、その思想が選民思想なのです。
しかし、イスラエルの国は、まだここに上がれませでした。線に引っかかったのと同じです。それゆえ、選民の希望が何かというと、この線を越えることです。この線を越えるべきであって、越えなければ大変なことになるのです。ですが、この線を越えようとしても、自分たちだけでは越える道がありません。
ですから、神様はイスラエル民族にメシア、すなわち救世主を送るという約束をしたのです。神様がこれを国家的に越えるために、数千年間準備されたのがメシアです。メシアを送るという約束をされたのです。
それで、イスラエル民族の前にメシアが来るようになれば、そのメシアを中心として死ぬとしても共に死のうという立場になって、サタンが離そうとしても離すことができないように完全に一つになれば、そこから個人的に接ぎ木して、家庭的に接ぎ木して、氏族的に接ぎ木して、民族的に接ぎ木して、国家的に接ぎ木して、彼らを一時に皆ここまで引き上げあることができるのです。
それゆえ、この世界には、選民思想がなければなりません。そうして、神様が選んだ民族を中心として、神様が選びうる国家を形成しなければならないのです。選民がいるというその言葉自体は、神様がいるという事実を証すものなのです。メシアを送るという預言があるということは、このような原則で見るとき、神様がいることを証すものです。
では、我々がメシアを必要とするようになったのは、何の目的があってか？ それが問題です。堕落することによって、我々は偽りの父母を持ちました。神様と一つになった父母がなくなったということです。神様と一つになりうる父母の位置を、我々に持ってきてくれる方がメシアです。これが第一です。
第二は何かというと、我々を再び産んでくれるのです。結局は、我々の体にサタンの血があるから、その血を抜いてサタンの息子娘でないという立場で、我々を接ぎ木して再び産んでくれるということです。
第三は何かというと、メシアは我々人間を、サタン悪魔を僕の奴にして、僕として使うことのできる人に作り上げるということです。すなわち、我々人間たちの前にメシアが来て、我々をしてサタンを屈服させて僕にしうる、サタンを屈服させて彼を処断しうる資格者にしてくれるということです。
結局、人間が堕落したために、第一は、父母を失い、第二は、サタンの血を受け、第三は、サタンの支配を受けるようになったのです。ですから、それを復帰するためには、逆さまに上がっていかなければなりません。
原理を見ると、信仰基台があり、実体基台があります。信仰基台を成して実体基台を成してこそ、メシアを迎えることができるようになっているのです。これが原理なのです。それゆえ、信仰基台と実体基台まで成そうというのです、外的に。（五四・一八六）
There have been many religions, but what has been their mission? Their mission is to find one particular person. Many religions talk about attaining salvation and other such matters, but they are seeking to find the one person able to rise to the highest point in the world; the one person who has even gone beyond that point. They want to bring this person into existance. In this way, the center of all religions is one specific person; he is the Messiah. In other words, all religions have been looking for one person, the central being, the Messiah, the Savior. When the Messiah comes, he does not come to his position immediately. He has to fulfill a seven-year course. The Messiah is a man. This Messiah has to come and gain victory over Satan by going beyond the blood relationship of the satanic world.
Centering on this triumphant man, there should be victory on the level of the family, tribe and society, and a foundation for national victory must be laid. One man alone will not suffice. In other words, he must be greater than the satanic world. Unless the Messiah rises above the families belonging to the satanic world, he cannot lead them.
The highest level in the satanic world is that of a nation. Satan has always been opposing God's will through nations. Since Satan has the nation, he has used it to strike heaven on the level of the individual, family, tribe and society. Satan has consistently used a nation to block the path prepared by heaven.
Ultimately, if you are opposed and persecuted it is because you are in an inferior position; if you are in a superior position, you can turn around and persecute and dominate. But this world became Satan's through the Fall; there are plenty of individuals, families, tribes and nations on the satanic side. But God has none of these on his side. There is only one individual, but there is no family, tribe, society or nation that has come up to God's standard.
Hence, without a foundation on which the Messiah as an individual can triumph on the family level, the tribal level and the national level, there is no way for ordinary people to advance.
Through individuals and families, God prepared a realm in which a people could advance with the Messiah when he came to earth. This was the people of Israel who lived with the concept of being the chosen people.
However, the people of Israel have not yet arrived in that realm. It is as if they were held back behind the line. The hope of the chosen people was to go over this line. If they failed to cross over it it would be a great disaster. They had to cross this line and yet as hard as they tried, it was impossible to cross over on their own. That is why God promised the people of Israel that He would send them the Messiah, the Savior. It was the Messiah for whom God had prepared for thousands of years in order to transcend this line on the national level. He promised to send the Messiah.
The people of Israel should have become completely one with the Messiah when he came to them. They should have been willing to die for him. If they had, Satan could never have separated them in any way. The Messiah could have engrafted them to him on levels of the individual, family, tribe, society and nation, and brought them into this realm all at once. This is why the world needs the idea of the chosen people. With that people chosen by God, the Messiah should build God's chosen nation. The existence of a chosen people proves God's existence. Judging from such a basis, the prophecy about the coming of the Messiah further proves God's existence.
For what purpose do we need the Messiah? That is the question. Through the Fall we came to have false parents. The parents who were to have become one with God disappeared. The Messiah comes in the position of parents through whom we can be one with God. This is the first purpose of the Messiah. What is the second? It is to give us rebirth. Since satanic blood runs in our veins, the Messiah will drain out this satanic blood and engraft us to him. He will give us a second birth and thus we shall no longer be Satan's sons and daughters. The Messiah's third purpose is tranform us into the people who can turn the devil into a servant and put him to work as a servant. In other words, the Messiah will come and make us qualified to subjugate Satan and punish him.
Because of the Fall, human beings first lost the chance to have parents. Second, they received satanic blood; third, they came under satanic dominion. Restoring what was originally intended requires going in the reverse order. In the Principle, we have the foundation of faith and the foundation of substance. We can hope for the Messiah only when we have laid these foundations of faith and substance. This is the Principle. We must establish the foundation of faith and foundation of substance.
