| 3. 생심과 육심과의 관계로 본 인간의 마음 생심(生心)과 육심(肉心)과의 관계는 성상(性相)과 형상(形狀)의 관계와 같아서, 그것들이 하나님을 중심하고 수수작용(授受作用)을 하여 합성일체화하면, 영인체와 육신을 합성일체화하게 하여 창조목적을 지향하게 하는 하나의 작용체를 이루는 것이니, 이것이 바로 인간의 마음이다. 인간은 타락되서 하나님을 모르게 됨에 따라 선(善)의 절대적인 기준도 알지 못하게 되었으나, 위와 같이 창조된 본성에 의하여 인간의 마음은 항상 자기가 선이라고 생각하는 것을 지향하는 것이니, 이것을 양심(良心)이라고 한다. 그런데 타락인간은 선의 절대적인 기준을 알지 못하여 양심의 절대적인 기준도 세울 수 없기 때문에, 선의 기준을 달리함에 따라서 양심의 기준도 달라지게 되어, 양심을 주장하는 사람들 사이에도 흔히 투쟁이 일어나게 된다. 선을 지향하는 마음의 성상적인 부분을 본심(本心)이라 하고, 그 형상적인 부분을 양심이라고 한다. 그러므로 인간이 그 무지(無知)에 의하여 창조본연의 것과 그 기준을 달리한 선을 세우게 될 때에도 양심은 그 선을 지향하지만, 본심은 이에 반발하여 양심을 그 본심이 지향하는 곳으로 돌이키도록 작용한다. 사탄의 구애(拘碍)를 당하고 있는 생심과 육심이 수수작용을 하여 합성일체화하면, 인간으로 하여금 악을 지향하게 하는 또 하나의 작용체를 이루는 것이니, 이것을 우리는 사심(邪心)이라고 한다. 그러므로 인간의 본심이나 양심은 이 사심에 반발하여, 인간으로 하여금 사탄을 분립하고 하나님을 상대하게 함으로써, 악을 물리치고 선을 지향하게 하는 것이다. |

| ③ 生心と肉心との関係から見た人間の心 生心と肉心との関係は、性相と形状との関係と同じく、それらが神を中心として授受作用をして合性一体化すれば、霊人体と肉身を合性一体化させて、創造目的を指向させる一つの作用体をつくる。これが正に人間の心である。 人間は堕落し、神を知ることができなくなるに従って、善の絶対的な基準も分からなくなったが、上述のように、創造された本性により、人間の心は、常に自分が善であると考えるものを指向する。 このような心を良心という。しかし、堕落人間は善の絶対的な基準を知らず、良心の絶対的な基準をも立てることができないので、善の基準を異にするに従って、良心の基準も異なるものとなり、良心を主張する人たちの間にも、しばしば闘争が起こるようになる。善を指向する心の性相的な部分を本心といい、その形状的な部分を良心という。 それゆえに、人間がその無知によって、創造本然のものと基準を異にする善を立てるようになるときにも、良心はその善を指向するが、本心はこれに反発して、良心をその本心が指向する方へと引き戻す作用をする。 サタンの拘束を受けている生心と肉心が授受作用をして合性一体化すれば、人間をして悪を指向させるまた一つの作用体をつくるが、これを我々は邪心という。 人間の本心や良心は、この邪心に反発し、人間をしてサタンを分立させ、神と相対することによって、悪を退け善を指向するようにさせるのである。 |

| 6.3.3 The Spirit Mind, the Physical Mind and Their Relationship in the Human Mind The human mind consists of the spirit mind and physical mind. The relationship between these two minds is like that between internal nature and external form. When they become one through give and take action with God as their center, they form a united functioning entity which guides the spirit self and physical self to become harmonious and progress toward the purpose of creation. This united entity is the mind of a human being. The conscience is that faculty of the human mind which, by virtue of its inborn nature, always directs us toward what we think is good. However, due to the Fall, human beings have become ignorant of God and thus ignorant of the absolute standard of goodness. For this reason, we are unable to set the proper standard of judgment for our conscience. As the standard of goodness varies, the standard of our conscience also fluctuates; this causes frequent contention even among those who advocate a conscientious life. The original mind is that faculty of the human mind which pursues absolute goodness. It relates to the conscience as internal nature to external form. A person’s conscience directs him to pursue goodness according to the standard which he has set up in ignorance, even though it may differ from the original standard. However, the original mind, being sensitive to the proper direction, repels this faulty standard and works to correct the conscience. As long as our spirit mind and physical mind are under the bondage of Satan, the functioning entity they form through their give and take action is called the evil mind. The evil mind continually drives people to do evil. Our original mind and conscience direct us to repel the evil mind. They guide us in desperate efforts to reject evil desires and cling to goodness by breaking our ties with Satan and turning to face God. |
